I was on the entire time, you ignorant caribbou. I only noticed YOU were on after your Crystal post. hmm somehow I don't think it works when we're simultaneously invisible.

I'm up for the rpg, even if I'll have to squeeze time. I've figured out the one character stereotype I haven't played yet :D

Caribou has one B. I sound like a Reindeer. *smacks self* Reindeer and caribou...heh...I don't know why I find that funny, I've probably had too much sugar today. Was probably the marshmallows that did it. [/offtopic, I promise]

Okays. If anybody would like to give suggestions for a possible setting, feel free to do so, otherwise I will be figuring out plot stuff and hopefully getting it up in the next week/couple of weeks.

Would it be based in real life or fantasy world?

Well, I was thinking fantasy world, just cause the characters that I'm basing my opposite off of are fantasy characters and I've never been *amazing* at RL RPing. Plus I already have a semi-idea for fantasy. But if you guys would all REALLY rather we do RL I suppose I could try it out. Maybe. I'd do my best :P

I iz the Kitty of Pheersome D00m. That's how.

Elenthari, I love your second banner!

So... having got caught up, I shall say:

Lady Dark Moon - Intricate charries who are generally male, start off dark or on the off side of neutral. Invariably, there are rational reasons in the charrie's past for the present personality/situation.

Valera Elenhathel - No comment. Actually a comment :P Yeah, I generally play females, big surprise. Set it up and hang on for the ride.

@LDM - *quotes* "Brings to mind those sophisticated, kick@$$ movie women with gorgeous looks and an AK-47 behind their backs. Hah... okay not really...." lol. except that they are usually plain looking and I prefer M-16s...:D

pirateoftherings - Excellent canon charries, OCs are highly detailed, calculating personalities who do what needs to be done without getting excessively emotionally involved.

Meldawen - Usually the "heart" of the RP. Her charries are the female healers, the compassionate, sometimes naive personalities. She's one of the few who can take one or two MS qualities and really make them work.

Turwaithiel Swann - I haven't RPed with you much, but I generally associate you with elven women

Eruraina Aniarure - Generally young, sword-wielding young women with a thing for animals, especially horses.

Aerlinniel ó Eressëa - I've only been in one RP with you, so I really can't say. Sorry.

Aerandir - Warrior/leader types in their thirties, with the noble/honor/duty thing going on. I don't know why, but I envision most of your charries with beards :P I think your roles tend to be quieter, but forceful, with a lot of introspection, which usually leads to novel-lengths :D

Elenya - Male supporting roles, quiet and amiable, but with a wry or hidden sense of humor. Your outcast/oddball charries, such as Ruthnak in the FR RP, are very human and one can empathize with their sits.

Elegost Eruaphadion - All of Ellie's charries have British accents :P I think they tend to mostly be Magellan-esque - the civilized adventurer/leader type. Not quite gregarious, but close, and usually middle-aged, giving an impression of experience.

Curunìr - Dark, twisted, scheming charries, always looking out for number one, and making no bones about it. Curunir's opposite charrie would be a simple farmboy hero/Luke Skywalker type :D

In terms of an RP I would favor a fantasy setting, since that's what most of our charries are drawn from. Well, there are the proud few of us who appreciate sci-fi.

I think that, in describing our stereotypical charries, we may have managed to describe some attributes of each others personalities, as well.

I think my anti-stereotypical charrie would be: male, academic scholar/supporter of established order, probably occupying some high position, a pacifist/knowing nothing about weapons ... mmm, I don't know if he would be a philanderer or a sworn celibate :D Or am I completely wrong?

*Flatterment* Why thank you Valera :) I've always been of the opinion that a couple MSish traits really isn't the end of the world...maybe it worked out okay for me :)

As for your opposite...hmmm. Male, yes. Knowing nothing about weapons, yes. From what I've seen of your characters, probably a bit under-confident, maybe timid. Probably inexperienced. That's all that really comes to mind ATM.

Mine has morphed a bit - as LDM pointed out, my opposite is more likely to be (to use an example) moral-and-emotion-lacking, self-serving, caustic mage Garthag from Star Crystal than it is to be Kendath, who originally lacked morals but is now regaining them, and isn't as self-serving as he was. Maybe it would be Kendath initially. Anyway, as I'm pretty sure I would butcher a character like Garthag, I suppose we'll see how it goes :P

I'd go for a fantasy rpg over a rl rpg... it's enough having to face rl in rl not in rpgs... (including being sick the last couple of days... blech!) And, I already said what my anti-steriotype would be. So, yeah...

I'd probably rather do a fantasy RP (even though I am one of the proud sci-fi fans! lol). There's more room for different races and such.

I've been thinking about my "anti-character" more. Definitely female, maybe with a little elvish blood, or some other race, since most of my charries are human males. She wouldn't be that good with weapons, and if she learned, she'd use anything besides a sword, bow and arrows, or daggers/throwing knives. lol
Also, since lots of people have agreed my charries are easy-going, fairly easy to get along with, she'd have to have a personality that's hard to get along with. I'm not sure just what that personality will be, yet. Maybe whiney, flirty, or bossy. I'm still thinking on it. lol

RL vs. Fantasy

I was going to vote RL at first, but decided Fantasy when I thought it through for a bit. :P

So I vote Fantasy :teehee:

Probably.. but everyone would vote for fantasy. I am one of the few that like both. :P

I vote for a fantasy RPG, naturally. :)

Fantasy RPG!!!!!! w00t!

....k, I'm going to post in WnB, and all of those who are in it--it should give you something to post off of as well. :D

You know, I just realized something after watching the 3:10 to Yuma trailer. I can't think of a single Western RPG that I've seen on this forum. The closest thing to it that I've seen was the bit in Ellie's RPG.

No, I had made a western rpg once... didn't last long, though...

And I'm not in the state of mind at the moment to read all those long posts in WNB... but I'm not quiting... tomorrow is the weekend. Then I'll read up on it...

I think it should be a fantasy rpg... because I've decided my character would be a dwarf that has a big hammer and/or axe whose supper talkative and sarcastic and is a bit on the shallow side.

I don't think I could do a Western RPG...it's too far out of my league, I think.
