mmm... I don't know if a Western RP would hold appeal for too many ... it would work in the context of Firefly or Serenity but I don't know how large a following that has to make a good RP

Well, I might join a Western RPG, but I doubt I'd start one--as you guys say--it doesn't have much appeal.
I was only making an observation.
Where's everybody been lately? Sharky's hasn't seemed all that active in the last week.

Hahah. I do live on the internet...when I can. Except for reading or playing squash, there's not much else that's enjoyable enough to keep me away for any length of time.
Go Sharky's!

I have a life, like I'm sure most of you do I think it's natural for Sharky's to slow down about this time of year. That's not to say I like it, but I'm not surprised by it.
Reindeer, I keep missing you on MSN, but GO POST, for goodness' sake!!!

And that's why I begged for a whole year to be homeschooled... which is how I'm schooling now. I get my daily work done in about 2 hours tops, sometimes more (matters how long the chapter is for that day in LotR which I'm ready for LA).
Anyway... I know I won't be on as much for the next week... being sick a week... I'm going to be bombed with make up homework. Plus, there's work to do... so, yeah.
(But I will squeez in AU time daily... and the pms are working again!)

Oh my gosh, two hours?! I'm lucky if I get mine done in four, and it's usually five.
If more people posted in Sharky's, I would post more. It's a cause-effect relationship, you see.
New topic - how do you find pictures for your rpg characters? Do you use actresses, art, do you put them in graphics? Currently I'm using Katie Holmes for Merrin, and as I'm sure you've all noticed I have quite a few graphics for her I also find that Keira Knightley seems a very popular actress for character pics - thoughts?

I'll sometimes use actors/actresses for pics, especially if it's a modern-day RP. Other times I'll check deviantart or do a Google image search. Usually, I get tired of looking for the picture that's "just right", so I give up. lol!

If I happen to run into a good picture for a character I will use it, but usually I just do without.

Me? Use a picture of an existing person or something someone's drawn for one of my characters? Never. Just like my charries will all have grey eyes unless species or race dictates otherwise.
Post in...Crystal, Melda? Yeah, I've been working on cooking a post up on that--while trying to sort of hopefully wait for LDM to post as well.
Haha. When I was homeschooled, I could (if I tried) get everything done in three hours. Now, though, my Physics homework alone takes something over an hour, not to mention the homework from my other classes. But it's fun, though, so I guess it doesn't really matter.

Yeah... you can say how long your homework takes in the Homeschooling club.
Me, every now and then I'll use an acter, if I think it fits...
But most of the time, I draw the character (ex. Rena from Flight of Chosen, and Eruraina Lusseroch lotr rpg character) that way they look exactly how I imagined them... but for the moment my stupid scanner isn't working so I can't do that.
I had even drawn one of Star Gazer's characters for her...

Haha. I have very little faith in my drawing abilities when it comes to things other than weapons and marine animals. I could never draw a character of mine even close to being how I imagine them. O_O
