I have a friend who would say that dwarves are way better than all of those combined. Me, I'm not so sure.. I'm going for men and elves more (and me and my friend have had a few bickers about that sometimes...)
Anyway... plot to new rpg is hatching in my mind....

I have to say I like humans the most as well. They're the easiest to keep "real". You're new to this too? This is the first place I've ever RPed, I love it! It's just too bad I missed out on it for a whole year.

The problem with Elves is that you have instant built-in possibility for a Mary-Sue. Beautiful/handsome, and more skilled than humans, and generally wiser, and they stay looking young for a long time. I like playing them, I just find that they're very often done wrong. And an elf done wrong is a bit...eh. I wouldn't say I prefer humans, though. They're my standard, but mostly because I try to stay away from possibilities for an MS.

I much prefer playing Elves to playing humans, but that's just because I love Tolkien's Elves. They are easier to make into MSes, but I still like them more than humans.
Likewise, I'd much rather play a human than a hobbit or a dwarf. Neither of the latter two has much appeal for me.

Yeah well, how long has it been since we'be had a horror rpg that doesn't turn to be a fantasy world type thing... *rubs hands together maliciously while conjuring up scary plot* plus, it only fits the season with all those scary movies coming out... lol!
Just so you know, I didn't recieve a PM if you sent one, Eru...

Meh. I don't really enjoy playing hobbits. I don't really enjoy hobbits, so...yeah.
Where's everyone else been? Nothing's been that active in the last week.

I had a character a loooong time ago....probably, oh, four years ago now, who was a hobbit. Technically she was a hobbit/elf, I suppose...how that worked, I really don't know, but she was my first RPG character ever and therefore a shameless Mary-Sue. I haven't had a hobbit character since, but I have had one.
And more people should post in WnB! Honestly!

I think it would be cool to play a hobbit...
Anyway, these last few months I've noticed it's easier to post something good when you wait for a bunch of other people to post in between your posts. That way, you have more stuff to respond to and your post is a paragraph or two post instead of a useless one-liner. So, some days I won't post at all, other days only every now and then. But some times, like tonight, I'll post in every single rpg something that someone can reply to. Sort of like rping sperts or something... I've found that in this way you get more context into a post!
