Oh god. Great thread Eru! Ha ha ha!
I can't think of any specific songs off the top of my head at this moment, but this thought will be with me all week, and I just KNOW I'll be sitting in class when something pops into my head. XD Let's just hope I can keep it together enough, so I don't have an outburst in the middle of class.
But Garth Brooks was one of those that I grew up on listening to obsessively. So, any time I listen to him, I'm always reminded of summers as a kid. So listen to anything by Garth Brooks in the 90s and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Anything by Michael Card and Keith Green makes me think of going to bed when I was little.
Donut Man and VeggieTales music was also something I heard a lot...

Aerlinn and Manwathiel: You two and my brother would have gotten along wonderfully. He adored all of those people. I, on the other hand, was not happy about waking up to the Backstreet Boys every morning.
Didn't S-Club 7 have a TV show or something?

I'm too lazy to actually list specific songs right now, but when I was a kid my family listened to a lot of: The Clarks, The Gin Blossoms, James Taylor, Van Morrison, Hootie and the Blowfish, Matchbox 20, Journey, Dave Matthews Band, The Gathering Field, and Cat Stevens. Plus more that I don't feel like listing.
P.S. Very cool thread idea Eru.

OH my god, tim4x! S CLUB! XD I kind of forgot about them. Ha ha ha ha ha!
I remember listening to them and I do remember the show a little. I don't think I watched a lot of it. XD I just remember Jon and Hannah! XD
N*Sync was definately on the list. Oh god, who can forget the boy bands? XD I never listened to Britney or Backstreet though.
AHH! The Spice Girls! XD
I said Garth Brooks, didn't I? I guess I have to mention him again, because every time I listen to him now, I'm reminded of summers back in the day.
But any classic rock music. Every time I did anything with my dad, we listened to the real rock 'n roll. (I couldn't possibly list all the songs )
Michael Jackson as well. Dude, he was amazing. Ya'll can't deny it. XD
BLOODHOUND GANG - THE BAD TOUCH.

I loved that song when I was little. It's still amazing.
Montana: I think I only watched one of the episodes, but my dear brother adored it. As I remember, the plot involved them buying a house in an earthquake-prone area that was about to slide down a hill or something. It was bad enough to leave quite an impression.

My parents used to play Beatles CDs ALL THE TIME when I was little. My favorite was always "Paperback Writer" - still is. I heard "Pretty Woman" and "Brown Eyed Girl" and stuff like that a lot too.

I hated the Spicegirls at the time but now I do like it when I hear their songs as it reminds me of childhood. I did really like Westlife like their version of Uptown Girl:

and Flying Without Wings:

Oh and I was most disturbed recently to see a poster advertising Wet Wet Wet's new album that showed them with grey hair. They can't be that old surely?

This thread makes me so happy! Thank you to everyone who has contributed with their childhood nostalgia. Great seeing so many artists I also used to listen to when I was younger and also in my teens.
*Feels like giving everyone one a huge nostalgia hug*
