I don't know look at Viggo mid 40's and still lookin good. Besides we couldn't affectionatly call him captain obvious right? It would have to be either Majesty Obvious or Mr. Obvious and I mean come on. We can't have that!

You all have a point. a)Having Orlando as Legolas probably wouldn't wor k out b)having Orlando as Thranduil would definantly confuse people.........c)most of you think Legolas should be left out because for one he wasn't even in the Hobbit (the book). I respect all of ya'lls opinions and actually........I agree with them all........it probably would be best to leave Orlando and Legolas out of the Hobbit.

I don't think that would work a) Orlando technically had two father's, Colin Stone and Harry Bloom, Colin Stone being his birth father and Harry Bloom bieng his........ummmmmmm other father b) neither of his fathers are actors c) they are probably both too old, Colin probably bieng 40 or 50 by now, and Harry at least 60 or 70 (he was about 50 when Orli was born)
So I don't think that would work out to well.

It's not because I've seen enough Legolas/Orlando, but I don't think they should put him in the hobbit. Not in the book = not in the movie.

it would b very intresting seing OB play Legolas again but younger, but may-b not, let other people take the chance. Anyway Legolas was not in The Hobbit, so I guess that, that wont b happening any sooner my Elf friends...I think.

I have read The Hobbit, and I don't think Legolas was mentioned in it. Personally, I don't think he would fit very well to be put into The Hobbit movie. (My opinion only.) *imagines Legsie fans screaming and yelling*
I think I better leave!

I think it would be kind of funny to see Legolas there. But if PJ starts making a big deal about it and giving him a bunch of lines or something then forget about it! A cameo is good. Legolas wasn't in The Hobbit officialy, but he is the King's son and I'm sure that at some point in time he was there. He just wasn't singled out. They should do it just like that in the movie
I don't see how is age would be a problem...it's only 3 years away or something so Orlando wouldn't look older. And it is supposed to be 61 years before LotR but he's an elf so I don't think that he would have changed that much in 61 years.
I'm certainly no Legolas fan but I think that it would be great for him to be there.

No Orlando! Can't we just an Orlando free movie?

I'd love to see Leggie but he's not in the book called The Hobbit by J.R.R., so he might be there. And about the younger version... well, 60 years before the War of the Ring Legolas was the same as he is during the war, so I'd love to see Orlando Bloom again... but PJ might include him because as I said he's not in the book.

Well, no I love watching him...
But when we talk about the Hobbit I won't enjoy to see Legolas because he's not in the book...
