It appears that this pointless rpg has, unfortunately, died. And you can, unfortunately, point a finger at me as I've been dragged off to school. It was enjoyable while it lasted, though. Perhaps we'll continue it over the next... er... international break?

I have a question for you, and we may have discussed this before, but pretend like we haven't. How have your characters changed since when you first started rping? Are they older, more shy, different genders, different races? Do you think this has anything to do with your changing personality?

Hmm.... my characters are more flawed now. Like, they have more distinct personalities and are more prone to mistake.

My characters have matured as I have, and their vocabulary and way of speaking has changed as well. They are the same, yet different with their cultures. I've also gone from strickly elf-maidens to playing dwarves, wizards, nymphs, nights, druids, pirates, heros, evil people, rangers, guards, humans, vampires. And, I've also noticed that my characters have become more the silent types... with the occasional spunk.

My characters have become more and more independent...of me, not of others in the RPG. Very rarely do I actually have to think about bios for new characters; when I write a one, it's more like meeting the new character than coming up with him/her. Relatedly, my characters practically write themselves now. I rarely have to think very much on what a character would do; it's like they just tell me. We think this may be the result of our ongoing stuggle with Multiple Personality Disorder.

But seriously, though, I can definitely say that my characters have grown deeper and more diverse. I tend to take more 'side characters' now than I used to, though they're still very involved in the plot.

I think just about the only consistent trait in my characters through the years is a healthy (or not so healthy) dose of sarcasm. I am sarcastic; thus, my characters tend to be as well. I need to come up with a very literal character some time, just for the fun of it....

*gasps* The Guild was on the 2nd page! *pushes it back to the first page where it belongs* lol

Anyway...

It's a shame the pointless RP died so soon. Here's to the chance to start it up again in the future! *toasts*

My characters have definitely grown more diverse. When I first started RPing, I played only females, usually human, and in their late teens/ early twenties. Now I play mostly males, and I've played several different races, and a wider age range.

I still like my females, mostly. I do have the Phantom, though, who's male and thirty-three. And I think I'm pretty good at my females, which makes up slightly for the fact that I like them so much When I first started RPing, half my characters were female and, like, thirteen years old, so that's got to be an improvement.

Well, I'll proudly admit that every single one of my female characters has some decided MS traits, but I don't actually think it's a bad thing. I mean, your stereotypical MS is perfect, yes? So amazing with weapons, witty, smart, beautiful, etc, etc. Meaning that a complete non-MS is clumsy, stupid, inexperienced, and kinda...boring. If some MS traits make your character interesting, then why not have some? That's not to say I think your characters are boring, just pointing out
