Pulp Fiction
My god. That was the most hilarious movie I've ever seen in my life.

that movie rocks! *I wonder if they were so similar to reinforce to us that the Pevensies were returning to narnia.*
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End...I only watch this movie for the Jack scenes. Otherwise I ignore it. hehe. Still never as good as the first though.

The only things I could think while watching this movie: 1. It's BRUGGE. Two "g"s thanks very much. 2. Wow, Colin is smoking hot. 3. I'VE BEEN THERE 4. Too bad I can't understand your accent 5. Stop shooting people!
But it was good.
That movie is amazing! But kind of weird. I'm not sure I like it, but it was really interesting.
Speed Racer--Those effects were near seizure-inducing! Goodness!

I loved In Brugge, I don't know why. Maybe because it was a bit more edgier? Or I don't know... but I really liked it.

I think he's sick of me watching it all the time XD He did this to me years ago during my OMGS Must...Watch..The..Crow
Anyhoo..watched Doomsday last night. I think Neil Marshall was on crack when he made this, but I'm glad because it's near 2 hours of absolute shenanigans. Heavily influenced by the awesome Mad Max movies. The fact that one of the characters has a Boromir like death scene is also total win.
Rhona Mitra is absolutely fab in this (not to mention sexy as hell)

Haven't been on in a while, but here are the movies I've seen most recently-
Fried Green Tomatoes- Loved it, first time I'd ever seen it. I'm confused about one thing, though- Was "Ninny" Idgie or not ? There's a scene toward the end that shows all the pictures on the wall in her room, so I gathered from that that she was, but in the very last scene, I got the impression she wasn't, so which is it ?
The Proposition- I liked it, violent as it was, and in spite of the fact that "Faramir", David Wenham, was an evil a-hole , worse even than Guy Pearce's supposedly psycho brother. What I liked most about it was how great a job it did of showing how thin the dividing line between "good" guys and "bad" guys really is.
Immortal- Finally saw this (mostly) all the way through. All I've gotta say is "WOW"! Great story, and the style of filming was very cool ! See my post about it a few pages back to get a better idea of what I mean .
timtimtimtim- About Paradise Now- I don't own it, but I did like it, for the very reason you did. I felt the same way about the "by happenstance" suicide bombers in Syriana. In the case of the former, I remember wishing, at the very end, that both of the young men had made the right choice and decided not go through with the attack. In the case of the latter, all I remember feeling as I was watching those young men speed to their dooms was sympathy and a bit of anger or disgust at the way the U.S's., and much of the Western world's, addiction to oil forces people like them to go to such extremes to make a point and/or alert us to the error of our ways .
Phoenix- I haven't seen Babylon A.D. yet, but I do love Vin Diesel, have since I saw Pitch Black . I'm not sure what it is about him I like so much. It may just be the fact that unlike most big, hulking action stars (Hulk Hogan and what's-his-name who was in The Mummy Returns and The Scorpion King come to mind), he chooses roles in action films where the main character actually has some depth and complexity. I like him so much, in fact, that I'm slowly building a collection of his films. With any other actor who works chiefly in that genre, I wouldn't even consider doing that, but he's different somehow .

Watched Finding Neverland for the first time last night. Laughed, cried, and left with a very bittersweet feeling. I like how true they stayed to Barrie's real life... and yet added little elements of fantasy that just were beautiful in the story.
Watched Howl's Moving Castle this morning!! Oh my word. Red crazy hair! Melting!! *dies* That scene was priceless.. the whole movie was great, but that scene made me fall in love with the movie.

Ninny is a kind of third party- she was married to one of Idgie's brothers (she refers to herself as Mrs. Cleo Threadgoode). As a child, she basically grew up with the Threadgoode kids, and ended up marrying one of them. If you liked the movie, you should definitely read the book. It's wonderful and funny!

I just wasted forty minutes of my life trying to watch "Southland Tales".
Oh em gee. I had no idea what was going on, who anyone was, and it was excruciatingly boring. Trying to wrap my mind around it gave me a massive headache.

I just watched Meet Joe Black. Brad Pitt is rather gorgeous in it, and I don't even like him normally.
