That would be scary...

My phobia is needles.

I almost fainted the first time I had to have my blood drawn. I don't mind needles in sewing, but when they're headed for my body, I hate them.

I've gotten so used to having my blood drawn that I don't mind anymore. I do hate dentists, though, because they do evil things to my teeth.

I don't mind the dentist...

I still haven't gotten over my fear of needles. Last time I ended up burying my head in my dad's shoulder and staying like that for about 10 minutes.

We were just at the dentist the other day.

The only thing I didn't like was the toothpaste flavor.

It was disgusting.

I don't like the dentist either. Or the orthodontist, but thankfully I got my braces off several months ago. I used to hate shots, but I don't mind them anymore because I started getting allergy shots. I have to have them once every other week now, although it was a lot more than that before.

I go to an orthodontist school to get my braces worked on. The doctors there are only students so that is why it's cheaper. I sometimes hear their instructors and them saying things like, "Her teeth are not supposed to be doing that," and "Hmm...I wonder what we should do," and "Oops, well let's try something else" and it scares the life out of me! :confused2: Also I have a hard time communicating with my doctor because she is Oriental and she can speak English but you know, it's a different culture so the communication is almost hilarious. And sometimes I can feel the pressure on one of my teeth and I see her hand shaking and her fingers turning white and I'm thinking, oh, no, she's going to lose her grip and I'M going to get the impact, on my lip or tongue or something. *frightened*

I agree...it really does depend on the guy :-D

yes definately. somes guys are mucho hot shirtless, some are blegh.

True. I'm picky about how men look. I will only think a man looks good shirtless unless he's got a bit of muscle on him or at least a decent toned body. Other than that, it's like eww keep the shirt on.

Oh dear, teeth topic. I've had enough to deal with about teeth and dentists or any other topic related to that. I went through plenty of teeth trama last month and now I am due for some fillings next week. God, when this is all done, no more of this this for a good while. *sighs in relief*

Oh my gosh, Miriel, I would be terrified!! I'm sorry! That really doesn't sound like fun. I used to wonder whether or not my orthodontists really knew what they were doing, but at least they never actually said those kinds of things out loud. :P

Yeah, I complain a lot about it, but you know it kind of is fun, cause all the patients are in one big room and there are all kinds of people, even Mexicans. The Mexican doctor is really cute...

^ How odd

I've never had braces. I've always had pretty straight teeth but that kinda got ruined a little when my bottom wisdom teeth came in. I've had the stupid things for nearly four years and over that time caused some of my botom teeth to overlap a little. I had no problems with my top wisdom teeth since those actually grew only about ten months or so before the surgery so it really didn't cause any problems for my other top teeth since they are still pretty straight. Now that my wisdom teeth are out, I want to get the Invisalign to fix my few bottom teeth. I just don't know if my insurance will pay for it though. Sure, my teeth will move back and straight themselves out eventually but that could take a very a long time. It took four years for them to mess up and who knows how many years it will take for them to fix themselves.
