I tried for IB and I couldn't get in... I couldn't even get into a RAP. That's a bit sad... after that I felt that I wasn't good at anything. But, yeah, my friends who did make it into an IB program say that it's really different from regular high school and there's so much to keep up with. I don't know though... I sort of wish I got in.
What Uni are you planning to go to, if it's not too personal? I want to go to RMC, OCAD, Ryerson or Dalhousie... all in Canada

They are excellent courses to take for colleges and universities! I am just surprised about the work load is all
It's ok that you didn't get into one, i barely got in! Only 6 kids out of 100 in my class were passed in. I just aced all the history tests so my teacher let me pass, plus i never skipped an assignment so...

Ooh that is a cool way to answer the phone! Yet they still don't get that it is you? Dude, that is not good. As I said though they can't tell me apart either. (sighs and shakes head)
Haldir, Well personaly I would like to go to Guild Hall shcool for music and drama and study drama. I know that it is so far away and so out of my price range that it isn't even funny but that is where I want to go to college (if I decide to go). It is one of the most renowned colleges in the world, so many fameous actors and actresses come from that shcool, and to be able to spend so very long in England...I would just love to go there! (sighs) A girl can dream, right?

I hear there is a really good art and design school in Ontario, so that would be nice. But I'm not sure what I want to do with myself when I'm older, so its hard to pick a Univeristy...

Welcome to the club, Elerrina! Haldy will add you to the first page sometime when she isn't busy. Have a great time here!
Colleges? I haven't decided where I'm going to go yet. Maybe Moravian. Just because they have a writing course and it's closer to where I live than some other schools. I have a few years to decide, though, if I even go to college.

bow: Aye, I've heard great things of Oxford... I wouldn't mind checking it out, but there isn't any point, since errr... schooling in the UK is typically very costly
Drew: Ah, you should totally go there! Wouldn't it be a bit hard to get into though?
Darky: I think the one you're talking about is OCAD.... Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto. I had a tour of it last summer and it looks really good. The building itself is the ugliest most tackiest thing I have ever seen, but I'm going to apply there... I hope they find my art acceptable *grunt*
Elerrina: Welcome, m'lady!
Aramel: I've never heard of Moravian.. is it focused mainly English?

Ooh. That's been a popular topic in my household actually. I'm going to a sixth form college to take my A Levels this coming year [and the next] actually. Then I'll be off to university. Not sure where I want to go yet. I've been looking into universities that have foreign exchange programmes to ths US.

I know where I'm going for uni! Finally! After a whole year of college applications and waiting for acceptacnes (and rejections) I finally know where I'm going to be in September! I am going to the University of California Davis (UC Davis). I'm so happy that it's all set now! I think the UC system has a study abroad program at Cambridge, so I might be looking into that!

Haldir, Yes it is very hard to get in. I think that they will accept people from other countries but it costs even more. (If they information has not changed since last I checked and I read it correctly) So yeah....next to impossable. I still would love to go there though. I highly doubt that I will though. (sighs)
Eve, Congratulations! It sounds like a great place to go.
Larael, Ah, don't worry about it. You are more than welcome to jump in at anytime. You want to come over here (to America)?

my dad won't pay for me to go to a private university... which is what i really want. He says that I can go to a community college and transfer into a university or I can go to a public university... He suggested University of Toronto... kinda weird since i'm in california, but i don't want to go there 'cause it's HUGE! I'd rather go to a smaller private university, but it's too expensive...
