Claude and Eden quickly sneaked in through the gate, ignoring the flight attendant that waited to accept their boarding passes. When they came upon the airplane door, the flight attendant asked in a false cheery voice, "May I see your boarding passes?"

Claude nodded his head in the direction of the stewardess and Eden advanced, suggesting, "You want to let us on two first class seats."

Unlike the hardened Homeland Security agent, Eden only need to say what she wanted once before the stewardess was persuaded to let them both on.

"Of course," she said, flashing a smile that revealed her absurdly white teeth. "Right this way."

They followed her to rows of comfortable seats and gestured a row for them. She bade them a good flight and returned to her post. Claude then collapsed on his chair, sighing deeply, while Eden sat down in a more controlled manner after securing the bag that she had clung during their adventure in the airport.

"So what's the next plan?" she asked curiously.

"When we get to New York," he replied, his eyes closed. "We start our job. Following Suresh."

"Mohinder Suresh?" she repeated. "I know him. What's so interesting about him? Aside from his list of evolved humans."

"Correction, Eden, knew. He's changed. I don't think you'll recognise him when you see him. He's the one who developed that compound that gives people abilities. As you would know from the case file. Any more questions?"

Eden shook her head, a bit shocked that the polite Indian professor she meant in New York four years ago was the person who started this mess. Somehow Claude sensed her non-verbal answer for he immediately fell asleep.

"Maybe we should wait for Peter" Ando replied anxiously, his eyes darting all around.

Kendra threw a sour look at the mention of Peter's name.
"If he was coming, he'd be here by now. I'm going to help, you coming?" she determinedly walked off towards the sound of the gunshots, her long black coat billowing behind her.

Ando sighed and rolled his eyes. This was highly typical Kendra behaviour.
"Someone has to keep an eye on you" he muttered to himself and followed her lead. "Kendra, wait" he called after her.

Out of reflex at hearing a gunshot, Hiro was down on his knees, looking around. It wasn't long before he saw two men in black suites heading in their direction.

"You don't want to know," he said to her question, seeing the fear in the girl's eyes. This wasn't the first time he had been shot at, far from infact. And from the gunshots, the few people that had been around had made a run for it, screaming.

Hiro was about to teleport himself out of there, when he realized that maybe the people were here for the girl, too...

A groupd of people ran past Ando and Kendra, ignoring them completely. They were obviously terrified and running from a danger of some sort. Kendra stopped and turned to Ando.
"Something's going down, if civilians are running for there lives."

Ando looked at her with concern, "Something's not right. The Government wouldn't risk shooting them, nor would the Company." he tilted his head a little, "A special?"

"That's what I'm afraid of" she replied grimly, "We should check it out, just incase"

"We should head back. We cannot take the risk of being caught" Ando retorded quickly, shaking his head in disagreement. "We must find Peter"

Kendra swivvled her body round to meet him, "I already said it's no use. Peter's abandoned us Ando!" she yelled angrily. Clenching her fists tightly at the thought of him.

Ando backed down, holding his hands up in a sign of surrender. Kendra opened her eyes to see Ando backing away from her. Her body relaxed and she held out her hand to him. "Ando..." she paused for a breath, "I'm sorry..I..." she trailed off unable to finish.

"It's okay, you're frustrated and angry" he took her hand and squeezed it gently, "Let's go see what's going on"

Kendra nodded and smiled thinly and they walked cautiously forward.

Bang!!! Kit yelped as a bullet entered her side and she floated to the ground, trying to staunch the blood flowing from the side of her body.

"Get away!!!" She yelled at her attackers.

Mallory growled - a deep throaty sound that reminded one of an angry dog - her teeth were bared and if she had ears at that time they would have been flattened on her head. This was not how she wanted to finish her day, and Hiro's answer was a tad infuriating. If someone was going to shoot at them she wanted to know who it was.

"I hate vague answers," she hissed, her body still flattened on the pavement.

There it was again, she could feel her body prickle with the intensity of the urge to run. Since she had discovered her power, she rarely needed it in public and she could nearly always control it - that is until the flight or fight instinct took over her mind. As it was her power enabled her to do both quite a bit better in a different form so it immediately tried changing when she was scared. Her eyes closed and she took calming breaths, under control once more she looked back to Hiro for answers.

"What do we do now?" She questioned. He obviously had more experience with these people, so she would have to trust him.

Another gunshot spliced the air, Kendra looked all around for the perpetrator. She saw two Government agents looking upward. A look of cold satisfaction at there efficiency. Kendra and Ando followed there gaze upwards. Kendra took a sharp intake of breath as she seen the girl from earlier. She'd been shot and was bleeding, though somehow she was managing to keep control of the blood.

Kendra looked back towards the agents, her brow furrowing and her eyes full of hatred. She quickened her pace and as she got within close enough range used her telekinesis to throw the agents into a nearby wall. Knocking both unconcious. She looked up towards the young girl and gave her a reassuring look.
"It's okay. I'll catch you if you need it." she turned to Ando "Keep watch for anymore of 'em...and if those two wake up. Zap 'em"
