Taurquende had spent a quiet day in her room. She had been disappointed that she had crashed so early and missed last night's festivities, but her disappointment declined considerably when she discovered that someone had died in the middle of the night. Feeling very vulnerable, she found her way to a group of people in the cemetery(?).

"Hide and seek?" she heard someone mention. "I'll join in."

Lady Death looked around at the group assembled before her. "All right then, I'll begin counting." She turned away and put her hands over her eyes. "One, two, three, four. . ."

Cold, dark, silence...that was the world...

Somehow, Saffron knew that she was a ghost. Of course, she was disappointed and left with a myriad of unanswered questions. Who would be the band's next lead singer? What about all those half-written songs? And her friends, her family, her cat?

She floated (it was quite a surreal experience) around the mansion grounds. Unfortunately, she couldn't find Winter anywhere--Saffron hoped that she was off chasing mice again. Wait, no, it was her cousin's cat that liked mice, wasn't it? Winter was more of a rat person...er, cat.

She was surprised to find herself in a graveyard and couldn't help but smile at the irony. Graveyards had always been inspiring to her; she wrote most of her songs in a graveyard. 'I wonder where my body is?' She caught herself wandering. 'Wow, that's a tad bit on the morbid side...'

Aha! She stumbled--er, floated--upon a group of guests organizing a game. "Hide-and-seek?" Saffron said aloud, surprised to hear how strange and hollow her voice sounded. "Que divertido."

Mrs. Haldir quickly walked through the cemetery, looking for a place to hide. But in a cemetery there was very few different places to hide, everyone was probably the same place. MH climbed up a tree and hide within the branches, there was still a decent amount of leaves left on the tree so she tried not to move and make the leaves rustle.

Taur shivered violently when she heard Saffron's voice, except now it was eerie, hoarse, and unnatural. "What was that? she whispered to herself, her lips numb.

Lady Death took her hands away from her eyes at the sound of Saffron's ghostly voice. She peered around, finding herself utterly alone, for even her husband had disappeared from sight. She walked quickly from tombstone to tombstone checking behind each one as well as behind a wheelbarrow full of fresh dirt next to which a new grave had been dug.

Suddenly she caught sight of a foot dangling from the nearest tree. Possibly sensing her foot being watched said foot was snatched back up into the boughs of the tree. Lady Death looked up into the branches and caught sight of Fragile's pale face. "Hullo there!" she called up, waving jovially. "Perhaps we should widen our playing area to the gardens and front lawn?"

Aria was laying flat on her back in a section of rather high grass, hoping to remain hidden for a while, when she could have sworn she heard <i>Saffron's</i> voice.

It was ridiculous of course. Saffron was dead. But still... Aria's skin began to crawl. Rising up from her hiding spot she asked, "Please don't tell me I'm the only one who heard that?"

"Yes," Lady Death said blinking. She suddenly put her palm to her forehead. "I suppose it would help if I found everyone else, wouldn't it?" Doing the obvious, she skipped over to another tree and peered up into the branches at Mrs.Haldir. "

She waved. "Gotcha." Quickly she went about the cemetery again and found Taur hiding quietly behind the largest tombstone.

"That's everyone I think..." she said, although she couldn't figure out for the life of her where her husband had gone off to.

[I've got to go everyone. Feel free to hide me somewhere in the garden if you'd like. *shrug*]
