Leon lead the way through the school and up the stairs to the roof. He leaned against the wall letting her look around for a few moments. "Come on, we have to get to class." For a moment his vision blured. He rubbed his eyes and stepped toward the door. "You can come back up here any time you want. " He said, then turned to take a step dwon the stairs. He suddenly felt very dizzy and lost his balance tumbleing dwon the stairs.

Brie smiled at Leon and then a moment later he was laying at the bottom of the stairs. " oh no!" she ran down to help him. " Leon? Leon..." she said with more persistance. he was breathing but was uncontious. " HELP SOMEONE HELP" she said.

A member of the football team on his way to class heard the shout for help and stopped to see what was wrong. "President Leon!" He yelped seeing the boy sprawled on the floor. He looked over at the girl that had called for help. He knelt down to see if there were any broken bones. Once satisfied that there was nothing broken he tucked an arm around Leon's waist, hefted him to his feet. "Get his other arm ... we'll have to take him to the imfirmary." He ducked his head pulling one of Leon's arms round his neck. "What happened?" He asked as they made their way dwon the hall.

" we were coming down from the roof to get back to class and he collasped. i dont know what happend." she said. " i'm new and he was showing me around the school and.." she said tears briming her eyes.

"Hey now ... don't cry ... Mmm get the door I got him." The football player hefted the uncontious boy and giving the new girl time to get the door open.

The Attendant looked up as the door opened and smiled. "Yes, can I help you?" The smile fell from her lips when she saw Leon and she quickly helped to get him to one of the unoccupied beds.

The football player smiled sheepishly. "I would stick arround, but I got to get to class. Coach doesn't like it if we're late. Later!" He said ducking out the door leaving Brie to answer any questions the attandent might have.

Brie still had tears in her eyes but answered all the questions they had. she told them what she had told the nice football player up until she walked into the office. she looked at the lady for something to do or say or some comforting words or anything. she felt like this was her fault somehow.

"You can go back to class if you like, or you can sit with him." The attendant said getting a cool cloth and placing it on Leon's forehead. "We'll just let him rest for a while, he should be fine."

Leon didn't know how long he had been out. He opened his eyes and looked around. "The infirmary ..." He mumbled and tried to move. He gasped and layed still. He hurt all over and felt as if he were on fire.

Leon looked over at Brie a gentil smile tugging at his lips. "I'm sorry I worried you, I'm alright ... You should get back to class, I'm gonna rest here for a while. There is no point in missing class assignments on your first day because of me." He closed his eyes feeling weary. "Why is it so hot in here? I thought it was suposed to be the beginning of fall." He mumbled.

Brie nodded. " your right i guess." she took his hand and squeezed it. " if you want i'll get you your homework." she offered. " it's the least i can do." she added. she wiped her eyes hoping he didnt notice the tear marks on her face. she still felt a little bad about this.

Leon opened his eyes again in suprise as she squeezed his hand. He hesitated for a moment, then squeezed lightly back. "I ... Thank you ... that would be helpful." He noticed that she quickly wipped her eyes. Was she crying ... over me? He thought to himself as she left. His eyes drifted closed of their own accord as he pondered this thought.

Brie returned to class. she was late but she told the teacher her excuss in privet. she decided that would be best since leon seemed like he had such a large fan club.
she sat down in her seat and hoped no one would notice her. she couldnt keep her mind off of Leon. this was so weird. she had never felt like this before.

As the class changed three girls who had, in spite of her hopes, noticed Brie walked over. "So ... you're the new girl ..." The apparent leader of the three said. "Don't get too friendly with Leon. He's already spoken for."

Leon awakened and once agian tried to move. This time he succeded without the pain and got up. He slipped his shoes on smiled, thanked the attendant, and headed to class. It was the last class of the day and he hoped he wouldn't have too much to work to catch up on.
Leon stepped into the classroom just as the ending bell rang, and just in time to see three girls approach Brie. He walked over and stood for a moment his grey blue eyes darkening as he litened to what was being said. "I think it would be wise if you took your seat and left miss Gonzales alone. Who I choose to accociate with is none of your concern and I would appriciate it if you stayed out of my affairs." He spoke gently but with authority maing sure the three girls knew he ment what he said.
Once they were gone he took his seat next to Brie. "I'm sorry ... I didn't expect them to ge so forward."

Brie hated coming to a new school. every girl thought that she was going for their guy. Brie found nothing about her self that was beautiful or attractive. she didnt know why guys tended to talk to her. Brie looked up at Leon. " it's okay..it doesnt bother me like it used to." she said looking away. of course it bothered but she wasnt going to say anything.
" are you feeling any better?" she asked him. having a true concern for him.

"I'm alright, thank you for asking." He gathered his books for the next class and arranged them on his desk like he normally would. He felt her watching and ganced over at her before pulling out the papers that vice President Tamera had hannded him earlier.

Brie caught herself staring at him and looked away. she kept piching herself every time she did that.
a few hours later school was over. her mom was going to pick her up in the same spot she dropped her off. Brie stood up as the bell rang and put her books away.
