I had Orli pictures in my folders... then all non family related people were banned. Guess who's frantically searching through her family tree... LOL!

Yeah, of anybody that isn't an immediate blood relation. Parents, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents are allowed, but third and fourth cousins are kinda stretching it. They won't even let you have people that went to school there if they are not in dress code.
I have kinda skirted the rule though, (BAD LOTHRIL!) I have a commic with Legolas in it that says "If you can read this the dwarf fell off". So I have a commic sketch of Legolas' back, but it's better than nothing.
Tis a bummer...

Well, our school doesn't want to promote anything HollyWood, related to, or pretty much anything secular (including sports) so they did the ban that way. The other thing was that this one girl that waterskis had pictures of her waterskiing, and the administration doesn't want pictures of girls in swimsuits (for rather obvious reasons) on display on peoples folders, lockers, etc., so they put in the dresscode rule.
I'm a hockey fan and an Orli fan, so double bummer for me, but I survive. I have plenty of LOTR stuff (just no pictures) on my binder, so I survive...barely...LOL!
I cheat though, with my LOTR EE DVD's, they have a program where you can make calandars, stationary, etc. So I've made a calander or two with pictures and sketches of Hobbiton, Rivendell, and so forth. I'm so sneaky. :O)))

I would, but I am not very sneaky.
Though... perhaps... *evil grin slowly crosses face* I could sneak in a small one... hehehehe! Sauron is beginning to influence me. Oh well! XD

Ack! But I can't do both at school!
I suppose I could always fade one out, so that it is barely visible at all, then I could see it, but have it be doubtful whether anyone else could at a glance...
And chanced of this being carried out... slim. I am not sneaky. And I can't lie. *sigh* I now it is a good thing, but at times I wonder.

huh... well, I understand the dress code, but banning movie pics... just cause you allow them doesn't mean you endorse Hollywood... same with sports... that sucks. At our school, we just can't wear any clothes that have writing, pics, or reveal anything.

The necklines can't be very low, we have to wear boring uniform skirts, no writing, nothing tight, etc. It's tolerable, but frightfully boring.
