I'd rather they took there time and effort into it, than just slam it all together. Everything has to be perfect for this. So the wait, while torturous lol, is worth it in the end.

If they screwed this one up I would be sooooo agrivated. I think everyone else would be pretty mad too.

wow i cant wait for this. with it being a guess a shorter book, they should be able to fit it all in considering how long movies are these days. it would be amazing for it ALL to be completely accurate, especially with the special FX they can do!!!

Indeed! I had never really considered that before... but I hope they do that!
I would be awasome to see them do it straight out of the book! 9regardless of how long it makes it./... I mean... seriously... what's wrong with a five hour movie if that's what it takes.  )

Exactly! i mean make it 6 hours to include every little detail! we dont mind! i'm sure no one else will!
ok i just hear it's not coming out until 2012!! maybe it'll give me some time to visit New Zealand to watch Filming. . .if that's where it is being filmed. i've always wanted to be an elf!!!

hehe... I know! i surely wouldn't mind. I wonder why they try to keep all the movies under 4 hours for theaters.. *shrugs*
2012!!!!  Man, I wish they would quit moving the date further and further away. *sighs* oh well, such is life.

Unfortunately I am not rich either. *thinks about all the crime movies I have watched like The italian job, Oceans 11, and such where they make millions*
Well, anyways....
Have they even started filming on it yet or no?

Well... the torN board of the Tolkien Track at Dragon*Con said that they started writing the script Labor Day Weekend... so they are making progress.

Well, I figure we sneak in, blast the safe throught the floor and have the decoy boat take the heat... Then we transport the gold underwater and into a secure location... load it into the van and leave the traitor behidn so it doesn't get stolen from us.
THEN *laughs somberly* we get our millions of dolars and board a plain from Alaska... we should be there in time for dinner!!! (and intime for filming )
MAWAHAHAHAHAHA
*takes deep breath*
Well, on a more serious note at least they have started ont he script. 
(now you see how boring my posts would be if i didn't add all this garbldegook and non-sense in them!!!)
