Everything's going good here....my mom's doing a lot better....slowly recovering....it's a long road, like 3 or 4 months, but she'll get there eventually....

not much here....I got a wii for Christmas!!! it's SOOO much fun!!! And I got a Calligraphy set, which is amazing. I've been writing some stuff, and i'm getting better! i'll scan some sometime. lol *is a nerd*

mmmm well, i think we're gonna watch a movie. i'll tlak to you guys later!!!

Glad your mom is recovering. *nods* Yeah surgery can take a while to recover from. my grandmother had surgery a few years back and it took her a while as well.

Wii... hmm never played with one but they look pretty interesting. A caligraphy set would be pretty cool! (My sister would LOVE that, she loves to draw and write fancy and all sorts of stuff)

A wii sounds awesome too- my friend has one, and they're lots of fun. And I'd love to have a calligraphy set, that's awesome!! Definitely upload some images.

I'm just trying to get some homework done and such, not a lot new... I am enjoying sleeping in really late every morning though it's amazing.

Hey guys! Just popping in real quick to say hey. haven't talked to you guys in a while!
How are you?
Everything's good here....it's the beginning of hell week.
I know you know that well, arwen, but Jax, hell week is the week before a show. It's when your life is completely consumed by the show and you live, breath, eat, sleep the show. lol so yea, that'll be fun.

Our first show is Thursday. We have a school show and then a show that night. Same deal Friday. Then Saturday I (and half our cast) have an all-state rehearsal all day and then a show that night. And then a show Sunday afternoon. So yea. busy busy busy. But I'm still crazy excited.

Ok, now that i've ranted for like ever and a half, how are you guys?
I miss talking to you!
I won't be on til the show's over.
I'm actually getting ready to go to rehearsal now,
so....

Oh, break a leg, Pip. I know how it is both hating and absolutely loving and thriving on hell week.

I actually have mono right now. It's really not fun. I was diagnosed on Wednesday and I probably won't get over it for a couple weeks. So I've been sleeping a lot and such.... trying to keep up on school work but I've been missing a lot. Hopefully it will go away soon. Not a lot else new though.... for me with theatre, we've started directing One Acts. I'm liking how mine is turning out so far, although we just started recently.

Good to talk to you guys, I'll be back on soon hopefully.

About the same here... not much new. I signed up for another Colege level writing class (this time for writing novels instead of short stories and articles)

I have a fantasy book I am writing so I am hoping to finish this class, apply the things I learn to my novel and then submit it to a publisher. Hopefully I can find somene who will want to publish it, but that's a while down the raod. the class is a 2 year course.

Thanks, Jax. I did go to school today but may end up staying home tomorrow again. It really isn't a fun illness. I'm still optimistic it will be gone by the end of the week though.

And that sounds like an awesome opportunity. Have fun with it and take advantage of it- that's amazing. I'm sure your book will turn out great too- keep us updated on the process and everything, I'd love to read it eventually.

We got tons of snow today. It took me an hour and a half to get to school, it was crazy. And it hasn't stopped... we might have a foot or more by tomorrow, but we'll see.

Oh, and could you guys also keep one of my best friends- Stacey- in your prayers? She has to have surgery on Thursday to remove a cyst... it might be minor enough for her to come home that day, but if it's difficult to remove she's looking at an extensive recovery. I'd really appreciate it.

Lucky.... lol We have only got 2 small snows this entire winter. i don't even like snow and I miss it! O_o It's been so dry and we really need the oisture. How much did it snow there>? Did it reach over a foot?

And it actually stopped snowing at some point last night, so it wasn't quite a foot... still a lot though. And we've actually been having a really dry winter too... we usually get SO much more snow. Just when it does decide to snow, it snows a lot.

Seussical is over and I'm sooo sad!!! lol
it went amazing. saturday was def our best night....
i'm really gonna miss being a who! my crazy outfit....and even my hot pink wig! lol so yea, now i'm in that let down period after a show when you're like omg i'm not at rehearsal, why am i living? lol a feeling i'm sure you understand, arwen.

so nothing new here, really....all-state chorus is at the beginning of feb, so that'll be fun....kinda lost my voice the day after the show...so i'm working on getting that back....i'm actually going to a rehearsal for madrigals (chorus) in like 15 mins....so yea....

been crazy here too....lots of snow!
well, not lots, only like 2 or 3 inches....but that's huge for us! lol but we also got lots of ice....it's so beautiful, but it's crazy slick and dangerous....so we haven't gone to school at all this week and they just announced no school again tomorrow....so idk if we'll go friday or not, but if we do it'll be a one day week! lol if not....it'll be no school all week

then all state is next week...we leave wed...so ill have a two day week next week! lol so very little school, which has been really nice....

and.....ok, so i'm just gonna have a big ranting-stupid-girly moment, and i'm really sorry....Jax, you don't have to read it. lol *takes deep breath*

so arwen, you know about Zenas....well he ended up dating this girl named Miriam for like....3 months or so....and i was sad beacuse i liked him....but i was finally coming to terms with it and i was like ok....i'm gonna try and be friends with her to get some closure, and she ended up being like crazy cool, which was kinda hard lol, but awesome at the same time....but then they broke up because he found out she cheated on him....which made me mad, obviously, but i wasnt going to get into it, because it wasnt my place....and honestly, the thought that he was single never really entered my mind....it was just well crap they're both upset and hurt and i'm friends with both of them and this sucks....so i texted Zenas and was like hey, if you want to talk or want some to distract you or you want to scream or cry or just want someone to be there, i will be. i love you and i can't imagine what you're going through.....and then we proceeded to text for the next like 4 days straight.....lol (which, i might add, was wonderful, and made me like...go crazy for him all over again cause he's so cute and its ridiculous....)and then he asked me if i liked anyone and i said yes. of course he wanted to know who and i refused to tell him....so it became this little game where he tries to guess/bugs the crap out of me until i tell him. this was right before the show, and he ended up coming thurs night, (which, just for the record, i was like SOOO nervous!!! lol) and he said i did a great job and gave me a hug and everything and i was really happy he came. so he keeps bugging me about who i like....and finally, last week on like....i guess it was wed night.....he called me and was like i like you. and i like.....freaked out. lol and i was like well i like you too. and so we've been talking....and we're not dating, because i've never had a boyfriend before and i've been a little scared and so i just need a little time to get used to the idea, but mainly because he's not over miriam and he was like you know, it wouldn't be fair of me to date you if i'm not over her yet, so....yea....so now we're just kind of chilling, waiting it out, and we're more than friends but not dating yet but i dont care because i would wait for him forever because i've liked him for like four years, or something ridiculous, and so i'm really excited!!!!

*takes uge breath* oh my goodness, ok that was insane. i'm sorry. lol but yea....I'M REALLY EXCITED!!!!

so crazy things going on in my life right now....pretty exciting....still missing doing the show, but it's all good. lol so

Well, I'm still busy here. I have started my course now, (the firstassignment) but then I found out they have e-mail submissions but my instructor does not do that so to save on the insane postage and envelope costs I am getting transfered (hopefully) to an instructor who does.

The rest of the day I have been looking for ways and tips on how to self-promote your book since I know I really need to work on that if I want to publish a novel and have it do good. I am using my poetry book for "experimentation" right now. lol
They say to have your friends tell people about your book and put up posters in their home-towns... O_o that seems a bit strange to me honestly. lol

And... I am looking throught he publishing directory to see if I can get some target audiences to write and submit a few short stories to... so yeah. I have still been pretty busy and I still have nto got my house all fixed up (thanks to the plumbing ) and one of our goats shoudl have babbies pretty soon... so that's exciting!!
