"I'm from Hammersmith. In London. Moved down to Chicago a few years ago," he said.

"And what about you?" he asked John, slightly surprised. He hadn't expected the other boy to be quite so ... pleasant. But then again he'd often been wrong about people, and besides, who was he to judge?

The quadruplet was mildly surprised...only...they weren't exactly a quadruplet without their other sibling, Elendili. She didn't really want training. She got all she learned from them.

The trio smiled wirely at Yvette. "Hi Yvette." Charlie said. English. Minna realized, smiling warmly.

"I'm Charlie and these are my siblings Minna and Erchirion." Charlie smiled warmly at Yvette, "Very nice to meet you."

A breeze blew slightly and the leaves rustled. Minna looked away, as did Charlie. Erchirion looked down. Oh how they hated using their powers without giving it much thought...

"Russia," John repeated. "Lovely place. Or so I heard. Never been there myself. And London and Chicago sounds wonderful as well. Me? I'm from some old town that no one on Earth has heard of. Well, after I left it, I went to stay in New York for a while." He smiled to himself, remembering the crazy months that he had spent in the decadence of the city life. He looked at the girl that they were drawing, giving a small wave to them.

"The commen room on the ground floor" (I think american's call it the first floor yes? The one that you don't have to go up stairs to, you just step of the street. Am i right?) She stood and thought for a moment before decideing on a time, "0030 hours, everyone should be in bed by midnight and then half an hour to be extra safe" She smiled "And of course any other tricks we want to pull...." she laughed mischerviousely.

((Yeah, we usually call it the first floor, but we'd know what you were saying if you called it the ground floor. ))

"That sounds like a good plan." Dom nodded in agreement. "That sounds like a very good plan."

"What sounds like a good plan?" a voice piped up behind him. Dom spun around to glare at Emily, who stood stood a few steps behind him, looking at him as innocently as she could manage.

"Nothing." Dom replied, trying to act nonchalant.

"Ooo, a midnight reandevou?" She asked in an over the top french accent. A smirk played over her face.

"Yeah, that's it, you caught me." Dom muttered sarcastically. "Now why are you out here? That fern not fun enough for you?"

Emily shrugged. "I just wanted more practice with bigger things. I was going to go play with that elm." She motioned to a large tree about ten yard away. "Well, have fun, doing whatever it is you'll be doing." She called as she jogged over to the elm.

Dom glanced at Bella appologetically. "Sorry about that."

(((Ahhhh coolio's. Well i'l try and say first floor for you becuase other wise i'l start calling what you call the second floor the first floor whitch is what i call it and we'll all get very very confused lol.)))

Bella stared at Emily in something that approched horror before she realised Dom had it under control.
"Who? And is she going to turn up tonight and spoil our plans?" she asked with a worried glance towards the girl. She was 14 by the looks of things. A kid.
Should they take her along to keep her silent or would that be more or a liability to them?

((Whoa...You call the second floor the first floor? Haha, oh the culture shock ))

Dom shook his head. "That's Emily. But it should be fine. Yeah, she's a curious one and she'll want to know what I'm up to, but she's an early bird. Playing with that elm will probably tire her out and she'll go to bed even earlier that usual." He glanced over to watch Emily practice moving the tree's branches. "Even if she does know what we're doing, she's not the kind to tattle."

Alannah was standing in the elevator, her mind and thoughts wandering aimlessly as it moved swiftly to it's destination. Suddenly it occured to her what it was she was missing.
"My book!" she exclaimed as the elevator slowed to a stop and the doors opened to the tall figure of Ororo Munroe.

"Right on time. Good" she smiled warmly at Alannah. "Now time to get your suit"

Alannah's jaw dropped open, "My what?" she was stunned. She didn't think the newcomers got the black leather suits that the X-Men wore.
"I didn't..." she trailed off realising she looked foolish.

"For this high level training all students must wear one. For protective purposes" Storm explained, then noticing the worried look on Alannah's face her look softened. "It'll be fine Alannah, I'll be with you the whole time."

"Okay" Alannah said, hardening her resolve. "Let's do this thing"

Storm let out a small laugh "Now that is more like it young lady" she turned on her heels and put her arm around Alannah and they both walked towards the round imposing metallic door that stood before them.

Storm placed her face in front of a black console to the right of the door and a laser scanned her bright blue eyes.

"Welcome Ororo" came the mechanical but feminine voice of the Mansions computer system and the large door began to open slowly.

"Yes." Minna murmured, "Russia is quite nice indeed." She gave another awkward smile towards Yvette.

(Where is everyone? I need to find a good spot to have my character so she can meet people. ^_^)

((Well it makes a kinda sense for us lol; the ground floor is on the ground. The first floor is the the first floor that is off the ground, and so on up.))

"Phew, wicked...I might still bribe her later once we've done it though. Just to be safe and all that. That ok with you?" she asked relaiseing he might object to her ftreating his freind in so untrusting a way. Its not that Bella didn't belive him when he said the kid wouldn't tell, but she knew enough about people to belive, however wrong she may be in some instances, that you couldn never reley on good will alone.

She thought of some other pranks they could play that night and grinned. "Any thing else you want to do tonight? Since we're going to be up and about we might as well do it properly."

"It'd be better not to." Dim replied. "She won't give us any trouble about it, but bribing her just shows that we're putting her in a higher position of power then ourselves. I've played that game with her before, and its not much fun." He laughed. "Yeah, she won't tell. We'll have to worry more about what happens if she actually does manage to stay awake until 12:30."

"Yeah your right" THAT was why they made such a good teams for this sort of stuff. Bella came up with the plans; Dom found the flaws.
"Eeeeek...well if she does then i'm sure we can think of something...even if it is tieing her up to a chair." She laughed

Harry jumped at Yvette's sudden outburst. He hadn't really expected someone to come bursting out from behind a tree. But then again this wasn't exactly the most normal of places. He nodded and smiled a bit shyly, not really sure how to respond.

Charlie, Minna, and Erchirion. How'd Charlie end up with the 'normal' name? Harry wondered.

It was certainly an awkward little gathering. That was really part of the reason why Harry hadn't already gotten to know these people; he hated awkward conversations. Unfortunately, they tended to occur quite often.

Alannah took in a gulp and swallowed hard as the door to the Danger Room closed over almost silently. Leaving her alone with Storm and whatever she had planned. She looked down at her hands and then looked up Storm, "Um..." she muttered biting down on her bottom lip, "Will this suit be okay if I, you know, burst into flame or something"

Storm tilted her head in bemusement, "It'll be fine. Some of the suits are specially designed to cope with a mutants particular power. Forge has made sure yours is fire proof and it won't melt onto your skin either" her blue eyes flashed and she gave Alannah a comforting smile. "Now...are you ready to begin?"

Alannah nodded meekly, then looked deep into Storms eyes. "I'm ready Ms Munroe"

"Good" she replied warmly, "We'll start easy. Computer" she paused in thought, "Student Program Alpha-Zero-B. Level One. Begin"

With Storms words, the large metallic room begin to melt away and change into a large green field. Alannah began to smile, partly in relief and partly in awe of this complex and imposing machine.
"Wow..." was all she could utter.

"Now" Storm began, breaking Alannah's wonderment. "Concentrate on elevation."

Alannah raised an eyebrow, but complied with Storms request. Emptying her mind and letting her power take her over. She felt her body enveloping in warmth and then becoming hotter and hotter. But it didn't affect her, it never did. Before she realised she was floating several feet i the air. Looking down she panicked and went hurtling to the ground. She closed her eyes tightly and put out her hands instinctively to brace for impact. Then nothing.

Opening her eyes slowly, Alannah was inches from the ground. Even the smell of the grass was being reproduced by this amazing room.
"Is...was that you Ms Munroe?" Alannah asked sheepishly.

"No, Alannah. Your instincts served you well and protected you from the fall. With a little bit of practice and work you could fly as well as I" she smiled broadly at her student, proud of her achievement.
