Gambit shot a card in the direction the dart came from, and, once the sky lit up from the explosion, he tossed three more to knock out the men that were coming up on them.

"Let's go, Chere," Gambit told the unconscious Kira as he picked her up and walked off in the night, "Time to get you somewhere safe."

It took a little walking before he finally reached the place he left the boat. Placing Kira gently in the front, he climbed in afterward and took hold of the row, moving off to pass the channel in between the land and the Muir island.

All the way down the corridors and in the elevator, Bobby protested with Rogue about the excursion to the Danger Room. Finally he stopped in the metallic corridor. It was eerily silent now with the jet off on it's mission and the only senior level mutants were he and Rogue, "Look Rogue" he spoke sharply, taking her arm tightly "This is a bad idea. Like really bad." his voice was full of concern. "We can't just disappear into the Danger Room and leave everyone else unattended."

"Yer such a stick in the mud Bobby" Rogue retorted, flipping back the white streaks of her hair. "If you're so interested in babysitting, then go back up there. Me, I wanna have me some fun for a change" she shook her arm out of his grip and stared at him. Since her powers returned Rogue was becoming more and more reckless.

He stared back at her, stunned at her reaction. His eyes showed the hurt he couldn't express. "Fine." was all he said before turning back and heading up to the main level.

Abigail stood there awkwardly as she watched the pair bicker. She stayed silent not really feeling it was her place to say anything.

"Let's go" Rogue said as she turned back to Abby, "That's if'n you still wanna" she finished with a crooked smile.

"Sure" Abby replied calmly, "What else are we supposed to do around here anyway?" it was a rhetorical question. She briefly turned to look at the siblings to see how they were reacting to the situation.

Erchirion beamed at Abby, "Let's Do it." Charlie smiled wirely, looking rather nervous himself, his eyes showed excitement though. The danger room and removed all thoughts and regrets about leaving sooner to go find Minna.

The boat quietly moved through the dark waters of the night. A sound of a jet could be heard coming from the island, but, the sound soon muffled into the wind.

Kira lay, motionless, on the front of the boat, and she was completely obedient to Gambit when he landed the boat on the island, climbed out, picked her up, and carried her towards the school. On the way, he had to stop and hide for a few minutes from the fluttering of people hastening to leave, probably to follow the jet, but, when the sudden haste toned down, Gambit continued to walk all of the way to the front door of the school.

"Gambit don't seem to remember this place much," Gambit spoke to himself as he strolled through the front entryway of the school. His eyes strolled from wall to wall, pacing over top to the ceiling and below to the floor underneath his feet. "Now where does Gambit go now?" He asked himself, vaguely remembering certain directions he needed to head in.

It had been years since he had last been at the school, and, for purposes of ease, he surely hoped one of the former members was present. He couldn't be too hopeful, however, because the school seemed empty. Gambit had remembered quite a few hallways, but, even with the times that he had to stop and choose, he did not see a soul wandering through the halls of the school. "Wonder where everyone went." He spoke to himself, finally finding the door the lead downstairs to the X-Men station.

"She gonna wake up soon," Gambit finally recalled how long Kira had been unconscious. It had been nearly 2 hours since she first hit the ground, give or take, and he knew all too well that she would not be happy when she woke back up. Chances were, if they weren't too careful, she might get some innocent trainee killed.

Gambit stomped down the halls underneath the school until he found the examination room. The one used for new mutants or those that need medical care. Walking in, he soon found an empty metal bed and laid Kira gently down on top of it. Knowing that she would be rowdy when woken, he fastened the girl to the bed before heading out to see if anyone was in the mansion.

Dom smiled, admiring the pure power of acceleration this jet could achieve. Flying in a jet was far different from flying in the form of a bird. As a bird he felt the wind in his face, he controled his speed, decent, direction. He pumped his own muscles to keep him aloft. It was peaceful and invigoration. In a jet, however, he had to do none of the work. Though the ground rushed by him at unatainable speeds for his bird form, the exhileration of being in the open air just wasn't there. Still, he had to admit that he much prefered the self propeled, super fast jet to his own muscle power.

He looked over to Bella as she squeezed his hand, realizing that she may not be as comfortable with flying as he was. He returned the squeeze with a smile. "Having fun yet?" He questioned.

Bella opened one eye at his returning squeeze before shooting him a nerverouse look with the best smile she could muster.
"Meh...I'l like it better when we're on the ground." She joked weakly "I don't know how you do it when you become a bird Dom; i would kill myself everytime."

The massive round metallic door rolled open, virtually silent save for a faint swish as the mechanics of the door sprung into life.

"Welcome Students" came the computerised female voice of the Institutes AI. Nicknamed "Danger" by everyone. "What is your training scenario of choice?" it asked pleasantly.

"Rogue Sim" spoke up the skunk haired X-Man, "Level 3-AlphaBetaX" she concluded her choice before turning to her companions with a wild grin. "Time to let our hair down"

Seconds after Rogue spoke the rather dull and bland looking room began to melt away. Everything got darker, the ceiling began to change into a starry sky with a moon high and very full. All around them were dilapidated and half destroyed buildings. There were flames and fire in many of the buildings. As was in the upturned vehicles littering the ash covered road.

Abigail swallowed down hard. "What in the hell have you gotten me into?" her voice wasn't scared so much as angry and demanding. "I'm not one of the students..I shouldn't be here" she finished, almost choking on smoke. Depsite it only being a simulation, the effects, sights, sounds, smells were all designed to be very very real.

"You wanna learn about your power" Rogue snapped back, "Then this is the place to be. Just be on your guard, it may not be real in the truest sense. But it can still be dangerous"

By now Abigail was furious. "So you brought me into a dangerous situation knowing I wasn't even remotely trained for this? Are you insane?"

Rogue rolled her eyes. "Why do you think it's called The Danger Room sugah?"

"Okay. We're over water. We need to start formulating a plan of action" Storm said, getting up from her seat and looking around at the team.

"We gotta be smart. Sinisters goons ain't walkovers. "Wolverine was the first to speak up, "We need stealth" he said looking at Kitty and then at Emma. "We need strength to overpower any obstacle Sinister has placed in our way" he looked at Colossus and pointed to himself, quickly unsheathing his claws. "We need backup and cover" he paused looking at his friend, "That's where you come in 'Ro" he popped his claws back inside his hand and looked around. "Anyone got anything to input?"

(Either way. I think it might be better if they knew him because they are already going to have enough to deal with when Kira wakes up. I don't know, however, if that is going to be completely necessary. I doubt that Gambit and Rogue will cross paths right now because he isn't going to head right to the danger room, where everyone appears to be.)

Gambit was out of the room, down the hallways, and up the stairs searching the school when Kira awoke from her unconscious state. She remained delusional for a moment, but should embodied a panicked child as she found herself strapped to a bed in a lost room. Out of impulse, she slowly burnt through the straps and sat up on the bed. Her eyes kept her well guarded with constant motion throughout the room. After she unbuckled the second, Kira jumped off of the bed and scampered to hide behind the wall at one of the room.

Peering out of the door, no one appeared to be watching. So, with a deep breath, Kira ran out of the door, down the hallway, and hid at the next available crack in the hallway. She continued through her stealth mode to the end of the hallway, where she traveled up the stairs and peered out of the door to see Gambit walking the halls.

No good she thought to herself before she turned around and rushed to the other end of the hall. There appeared to be no way out of this encampment. Moving her eyebrows to show a thought, Kira's mind tried to process a sound. She carefully moved throughout the inner halls of the X-Men lair, listening carefully for what began to sound more and more like an escape route.

Taken back, Kira stood motionless at the metallic door. She was sure the sounds were coming from the other side, but she stood puzzled on how to get there.

(Alright, I am not sure how the door would open, or, even if it can open with people training inside.)

Abigail stood firm, despite the computerised chaos going on all around her.
"No!" she roared, grasping at Rogues arm. "You let me out of here right now. I'm not playing this game" Abigails face changed as she spoke. Gone was the almost gentle fragility of a girl who'd suffered recent loss. In place was a face twisted with rage, it seemed to consume her subconciously. Channeling some deep, long repressed anger.

"Ah suggest you let go of mah arm sugah, or you're on a one way trip to the infirmary" Rogue glared back at the blonde.

Amidst all the anger and tension a burned out car came hurtling towards the party. Abigail instinctively let go of Rogues arm and shoved her out the way just in time. The wreck his Abby full force and shoved her through a wall. Rogue panicked as a burst of dust cloud puffed out from the hole where Abby crashed through.

"You two" she called over to the brothers "There's a big ole Sentinel on it's way. I need you two to take care of it while I check on Abby"

Erchirion stared as Rogue went off. When he glanced at the space where his brother was, he was gone. Frowning, Erchirion gentley let his fire attach itself to him as it propelled him towards the Sentinel. As it threw a car at them, Both, attempted to dodge. The car sent Charlie spinning and caught Erchirion off guard. He nearly missed his target, managing to melt off a little of the Sentinel's shoulder.

Kira had stepped back from the door a moment. She was determined to leave, as quickly as possible. That man would be down here at any moment, and she had no intention on running into him again.

With a big sign, Kira sent a stream of fire lashing against the door, hopeful that the heat would cause the metal to melt and set apart a hole that she could use to break through and escape. Upon hearing a huge clanging noise inside, Kira immediately withdrew. A scary thought ran through her mind, Maybe going outside wasn't such a good idea right then. She seemed safe enough behind the door. After all, there were no apparent marks from the load of flame put on it.

"Not bad," Emma complimented. "I propose we divide ourselves into two teams of three, each containing one of the skills you described. The students can serve as guards for the plane. Knowing Sinister's agents, they'll try to take the plane. John, here, can serve as a medic. His ability to repair blood vessels will be invaluable should our team suffer any wounds. Passing the students, our two teams will insert at two points." She brought a holographic image of the Muir Island, with two flashing points located at nearly opposite areas. A green flashing point showed the location of Xavier. "We don't know if Sinister knows the location of Xavier but the plan should be the same. One team will attempt to extract Xavier and escort him back to the plane. The other team will intercept any Marauders that attempt to come for the professor. Any suggestions?"

He levitated over the Atlantic Ocean, his arms crossed over his chest, gazing at the island ahead of him. He had left the rest of his team on the shore, preferring to do this alone. It wasn't like they didn't know the relationship between him and Xavier, just the depth of that relationship. After a moment's of contemplative thought, he placed on his helmet and flew towards Muir Island, three fairly large iron spheres orbiting him like planets held in place by the sun.

Rogue clambered through the rubble, looking for any signs of life.
"Abby" she said softly as she scrambled about , "I am so sorry girl. Please be okay. Please be okay" she whispered to herself.

A few feet away, slabs of simulated concrete began to move and shuffle with movement from below. A low growling moan came from beneath the mess and slowly Abby rose up from underneath, dust and rocks pouring off her.
"Ugh" she groaned as she rubbed at her neck, "I thought this wasn't real" she slowly got to her feet and Rogue quickly rushed to her side.

"Give a girl a heart attack why dont'cha" she smiled at Abby, relieved to see the newcomer alive and apparently well. "You gotta show me that trick" putting an arm around Abigails shoulder, helping to steady her. "I'm sorry I lost it back there. I've...I've not been myself lately"

"Forget about it" Abby paused for breath, leaning on Rogue slighty to steady herself. "I sorta went a bit crazy there too" then a strange grin appeared on her face. "I feel....amazing"

"Well, I think we've had enough excitement for the day, maybe we should stop here and head back upstairs. I should go apologise to Bobby for being a total b-tch" Rogue said, a hint of guilt in her voice.

"That might be a good idea" Abby replied with a smirk. When laser fire from the Sentinel missed her by inches, she gave Rogue a concerned look. "Definetly time to quit the game"

"Computer!" Rogue called out, hoping to avoid any more laser blasts, "End Program"

Nothing happened, Rogue called out again for the simulation to come to a halt. Garbled mechanical words filtered through the program.
"Oh this is not good. Somethin's wrong"

The program froze, but three figures materialised in front of the students.
One was a tall green haired woman in a green and white outfit. The other was a young Asian man and front and center was a massive, tall brute of a man with long blond hair.

Rogue cursed loudly.
"We're gonners"
