I agree with Firiel ^^
Oh, and aside from the meaning of the lyrics etc. ...I also think Liv's voice sounds absolutely gorgeous and Elvish-like in it
What I also really like is the act that they managed to make it sound a bit like...elvish poetry It reminds me a bit of Galadriel's song about leaves of gold-...uhm, it also includes leaves?
No, but really, the whole...comparing things to leaves thing just sounds very Elvish to me.
Lol. That probably didn't make sense to anyone but me |

I think I understand what you mean. And I can only agree with you, it does really sound a bit Elvish and when I hear it, I can imagine Arwen being in Rivendell while Aragorn has to fight in the war. It reminds of Rivendell at the time when Arwen has decided to stay in Middle-Earth and returns to her father. |

Haha Someone actually understood what I meant Yay.
Oh, and that's a really beautiful idea too, Firiel
I think that comparing things to nature is a very Elvish thing to do btw. Lol. Not only leaves...I sounded just a bit dumb in that post.. |

| The Houses of Healing scene is my favorite from the movie. Everything about it, the scenery, the emotion, and *gasp* the music! I simply love it! One of my all time favorite tracks from the Trilogy! |

By far this is surely the most beautiful piece of music from the movies. I agree with those who've stated before however....even though it was only on the Extended Edition, it should've been included in the soundtrack. It's very disappointing that it wasn't. |

I <333 The Houses of Healing song!!!
The other month or so I bought the mp3 track of the song from Amazon or the HMV site or somewhere I was sooo excited because it's one of my favourite songs ever, and I'd been contemplating buying the Complete Recordings CD collection to have it which would have cost a lotttt O_o
I'd had no idea you could just download the mp3, and it only cost a few pence
Onto the meaning of the song, I think it's definitely Eowyn&Faramir's song *nods* ^_^ I'm a massive E/F shipper The lyrics are just so beautiful. Sometime I'm definitely going to read "The Steward and the King" chapter (my favourite chapter in the book!) while listening to it! And I love the scene in the film when the song's used. <3 |
