					| haha, nope, I got Youtube! It's up there since today morning. Whenever I had some 20 minutes to spare during my uni courses today, I rushed to the PC room and got my fix Aww, I know what it feels like. I kind of invented a DW-reward-system for myself: Study for about an hour - watch 10 minutes of DW- study. The only problem is that it doesn't work. It turns out to be study 10 minutes - watch DW for an hour. Never mind.
Keep going, you're gonna be really good in those exams, and then you can have as much Doctor as you want. _________________ <center>

					| Finally, university set me free (for this week) and I am able to come back and "live" again. I probably failed one of my exams, but you never know...
Annnyway (as the Doctor says) here is my next volley!!
The song is "Big Big World" by Emilia.
I also watched half of the Waters of Mars, but don't tell me anything yet, I want to finish it first So, how are you FF? _________________

					| That is so beautiful! Love the song, love the pictures, love the b/w colour scheme. ♥
I really cannot believe that you failed that exam, just wait and see Umm, I got a question. Would you mind if we changed this into an icon battle for the next 10 rounds or so? I just feel that I really need to improve on icons, and this would be the perfect place to practise We can go back to blends anytime we want to. Tell me what you think!
Oooh, and I can't wait till you've finished WoM!! What did you think about the Children in Need - End of Time preview, btw?_________________ <center>

					| First of all, thanks I wanted to make something Rose-centric, for once.
It's ok, I should practise icons as well, so it's cool with me I watched the children in need bit last night. It was cute, but it made me so sad, really. Also, I was at my boyfriend's house, and he kept saying me how stupid is in his opinion Doctor Who, so I couldn't ear well what they said But I love your icon edit. Oh, and the bit where he locks the TARDIS like a car!!! double edit. I just finished watching The Waters of Mars. So, if anybody is reading this and doesn't want to read spoilers, stop here!! Anyway, back to the point. It was...weird. Surely original, but...can I say I feel a bit bitter? I didn't like much the Doctor acting like that. I didn't even..."recognize" him. The Doctor is not like that, he's not "the winner". I mean, he is, but in a different way. Not this "Timelord victorious" stuff. And then, he never broke the laws of time, not for Rose, not for Donna, not for ANYBODY, and he does for a few strangers on Mars. How weird. I know they are doing this to "prepare" the Christmas specials, but I felt a bit...betrayed when I saw this. I mean, this is not MY Doctor.
Apart from this, lots of drooling scenes end of spoilers!!_________________

					| Lol, ok, long post ahead.
First of all, I'm glad you agreed about the icon thing. Here's my first one. I tried really hard to come up with some text for it, but I just don't have any words for that scene. It still makes me happy and sad at the same time.
Thanks, I'm glad you liked my End of Time avvie. That outfit is just so hilarious! But I felt terribly sad, too, when I watched it. Seriously, I don't know what to do once Christmas is over. Oh, and shame on your boyfriend! But perhaps it's indeed a very girlish thing to like Doctor Who. I mean, well... you know what I mean. Waters of Mars spoilers ahead.
I know EXACTLY what you mean, and I felt exactly the same way when I watched it. It doesn't feel "right" to see him act like this, it's not his true self and you feel a bit... disappointed, seeing him do things that are wrong.
But then after a few days, when I was over the initial shock, I found a different way to look at it. You see, if Rose or Donna or anybody had been with him, he would not have acted in such an insane way. Having to lose all his friends (and his true love ♥), over and over again, having to watch everything "turn to dust", is what brings him to the brink of insanity. The people on Mars were just the last straw in a long series of losses and pains. I do like the thought that losing Rose left him in such a fragile state of mind that he couldn't bear watching more people die.
And I do feel that such a reaction makes him, in the end, more "human" and believable as a character (paradoxical as it is). Seeing his weaknesses, seeing him going mad from grief has made me love him even more. Because, ultimately, he is not a God, he is just like a human. There is a point where he just can't bear it anymore, all that loss and pain. And I love him all the more for it.
Well, that were, basically, my thoughts. It's really hard to express how I feel about it, but hopefully, you got the point. _________________ <center>

					| Aww, lovely icon I know what you mean, the end of Journey's End still gives me bittersweet feelings.
And I know, I should've laught on that bit, but I actually felt too sad to do it (about the End of Time).
And ahah, well, probably my boyfriend doesn't like it because I spend most of the time jumping around and saying "OMG the Doctor is so awesome, he's the best, the bestest of the bests" Waters of Mars spoilers:
Oh, I'm glad that I wasn't the only one who felt like that, after watching it. A few people I know, that watch Doctor Who, kept telling me "What do you mean, he's so cool, he's like a God, he should be like this all the times" and I felt terribly, because "But he's not you" (quoting Rose on Bad Wolf Bay, if you know what I mean).
After reading what you wrote, I thought a lot, and you're right about that, I agree with you, but still, my opinion is, they made it too fast. I know they only had a few episodes this year, so they couldn't develop much this change of the Doctor, but, I mean, he was OK in Planet of the Death and in SJA!! So what shocked me the most was how repentine was this total change. It was completely unexpected, to me at least.
Gosh it made me feel so bad to see him like that. I've been sad the whole day (yeah, I know, I have no life ).
So yes, this makes him a more "human" character, BUT, it was all too quick to me. And unexpected. I mean, one day he was bouncing around a sandy planet with Lady Christina, the day after he interrupts SJ's wedding (as we all expected he would do) and the day after that he completely looses his mind, breaks the laws of time and sees Oods all over the place. If you know what I mean.
 end of spoilers.
[s]Btw, my volley will be up soon, promise [/s]
edit. Here is my volley:
Oh, and FF, I wanted to tell you that I'm doing a claim on LotC, so if you want you can come and check it out (there is also a bit of DW, of course )_________________

					| Aww, that's such a sweet icon! Revenge wrote: And ahah, well, probably my boyfriend doesn't like it because I spend most of the time jumping around and saying "OMG the Doctor is so awesome, he's the best, the bestest of the bests" Lol, I can't blame him for that You're making him jealous of a FICTIONAL CHARACTER! Waters of Mars. Evil spoilers ahead!
I couldn't agree more about the "too fast" bit. Although the difference between PotD, SJA and WoM was that in the first two ones, he was actively involved, he could to something to help these people and they needed him. Whereas in WoM, he had to watch them die and couldn't do anything (which is, frankly, enough to make anyone go mad). Add to this the fact that he has lost everyone he loves.
I think adventures like in Planet of the Dead, in which he can show off a bit, play the look-at-me-aren't-I-just-so-cool part - these give him the opportunity to forget his grief for a while. He is trying to deny his broken heart, even to himself. And it's this moment in WoM, when he has to stand and watch, helplessly, that his wall of self-deception breaks down and makes him act like he has never done before. I really like the fact that he's almost like one of Shakespeare's tragic heroes, in a way.
But nonetheless, I do agree that his character was not written completely consistently. They should have put more hints in that direction in PotD, to make it all more convincing. The change came all to abruptly. RTD may be a genius at certain times, but sometimes he just makes mistakes. So, let's blame it on him. Btw, I have a certain feeling that his insanity in WoM is going to play an important role for the way he acts in The End of Time. Speaking of the hybris of a Timelord and the Master and everything.... I can't really make myself clear on this, it is just a random feeling that it will be important. We'll see. _________________ <center>

					| Ahaha thanks And yeah, well, he MUST be jelous of the Doctor spoilers!
Annnyway, yes, I agree with you. But still he scares me *runs and hides behind the sofa when WoM is on*.
I also agree about the fact that this will play an important role in The End of Time, 'cause gosh, he broke the laws of time, there must be some consequences (how about the Master coming back from the Timelords heaven?).
But you don't know HOW MUCH I miss the old Doctor, the one of the 2nd season, before losing Rose. He's my favorite, and I will love him forever end of spoilers!!
Oh, and your claim on LotC is ready. Already, I know, but I was bored _________________
