I love this show. Now THIS is what a vampire show should be.

To be honest, I wasn't hooked from the first episode. But it got seriously addicting.

I don't get HBO, so I have to wait for the 2nd season on DVD. I'm dieing here.

Well, it only took until the 2nd episode haha.

And I watch it with my sister and we'd rather watch it on the tv than on the computer, so I can wait.

Maybe this has already been mentioned (I didn't read the whole thread in fear of spoilers), but I definitely approve of Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer as a couple in real life.

They've been dating more or less since they started filming Season 1. They make such a cute couple and got engaged fairly recently too.

Yeah, his accent is quite decent for a non-Southerner.... but it has sort of a slight edge, which goes well together with the fact that he's an old vampire.. like in my world it matches the gentleman-style he's got.

Cool, thanks for the info =)! I could see that guy as Alcide . I'm loving that Alfre Woodard, of all people, is going to play Lafayette's mother 8). I'm excited to see James Frain, too . He was a cold-hearted, slimy you-know-what in The Tudors, but boy did he do a good job playing that up ! Interesting that they cast someone who's younger than Franklin is in the book. But then they did the same thing with Terry Bellefleur (in the books, he's a Vietnam vet, and in the series, he's a Gulf War vet), so really no surprise there :].
