Is it just me or does she bear a strong resemblance to Arwen? I think it's the lips and the eyes... creepy.
I love her hair. I think she'd make a perfect Lúthien.

Oh Gods, I'd love to see The Silmarillon on film! truly would, but I fear it is not likely. *cries*

By just these pics, I think he would make a good Fëanor. The facial expressions so say.
And Laura Berlin is really pretty, I think could be a good Lúthien.
I don't know who this is, I just randomly found it, I assume it's a just a male model. He's good looking, reddish/copper hair, a somber expression, I think we have our Maedhros.

Gwilwileth wrote: Eeeeh Haldy!! Now that's a pretty fast reply! Usually such things take days in the Sil thread. I'm never letting you gooooo harrharrharr *creeperhug* Cough. Anyway, yeah, Laura Berlin does look a whole lot like Liv Tyler I suppose - actually, Laura looks more like how I imagined Arwen when I read the book ( ignoring the outfits). A bit of a more err..open face? Though yes, they could pretty much be sisters. Hehe, shocking eh? And yeah it's weird! They look very similar though for sure, she'd be so suitable for the role. That's Bartek Borowiec!!! Delicious isn't he?
He'd make a very fine Maedhros.

Well, if we're throwing Tulkas in too, Id propose Brian Blessed for sure id be tempted to put Karl Urban in as Fingolfin, he would be hardcore enough I think to play him. Also, blond hair works there.
And is this thread just becoming a thread for half naked men now?>

I'm not going to say that I am against the idea of casting Karl Urban as Fingolfin, I just prefer the thought of using new faces, except for for like Elrond and Galadriel. Hugo Weaving and Cate Blanchett obviously would keep their roles and since Elrond and his brother Elros are twins, Hugo would be playing double the role lol
