Darius sighed at Rosalina's words, not knowing what it was. "Maybe you should see a healer of some sort. I have no idea what is wrong, Ro. But I am going to make sure that you get all the rest that you need. For right now, no stress. If someone needs to worry, let me do it," he remarked before placing a gentle kiss on the crown of her head.

"Rose, you don't understand," Gareth remarked as he held Calista close against him, just enjoying the feel of her in his arms. "You have been unconscious for two days, had a total of three seizures, nearly choked to death and your heart stopped once," the mage added, his eyes misting with tears at the thought. "I was worried that you wouldn't wake at all," he whispered, his voice tight with his own emotions.
"Shh," Calista whispered as she snuggled closer to Gareth. "I'm feeling better now," she whispered before coughing again, which told Gareth that she still needed to rest. "Please don't worry," she added as she gave Gareth a look of entreaty.

Darius sighed as he just wrapped his arms around her waist all the tighter. "I realize that Ro, but I am worried about you. All of this stress isn't good for you either," he told her softly. "If it will make you feel any better we can check on Calista again, but you are not to do anything, understand?"

"Rose, please. You just need to rest. Your body is still weak," Gareth whispered as he gently ran his hand up and down her arm.
"But how can I rest when I am worried about you?" Calista protested. "Gareth you look exhausted! You need the rest just as much as I do," she whispered, her voice still raspy.
"Shh, my love. I will be fine. Just as long as I know that you are."

Darius sighed and finally nodded. "All right, but you have to be sure to take it easy. I don't want you to become as ill as Calista," he said softly before kissing her lightly on her lips.

As Calista broke into a coughing fit, Gareth gently laid the woman back down on the bed before rising to pour her a cup of water. Walking with the decanter in hand, he helped her to sit before holding the cup out to her. Taking the cup with a slightly shaking hand, Calista raised the vessel to her lips and slowly began to sip the liquid, her cough caused her to choke a few times as she did so. As he sat back down at her side, Gareth gently rubbed her back, wishing he had the power to instantly heal her.

Rosalina nodded and headed to calista's room. When she saw her awake she rushed over. "Thank the heavens." she said taking the womans hand.

Finishing the water just before Rosalina came into her room and rushed over, Calista gave her friend a gentle smile and weakly squeezed her hand. Darius walked in after Rosalina and gave Calista a small smile. "You gave my lady quite a scare," he remarked. "And probably gave your mage several heart attacks," he added with a teasing smirk. Shortly afterwards, Daniel hobbled into the room and a wide grin spread over his face as he saw Calista awake. "Thank heavens, you are awake my dearest daughter!" he exclaimed as he came up to her and gave her a hug. Returning her father's hug she then smiled at the group before resting once more against Gareth. "Sorry, I did not mean to cause so much trouble," she said softly. Turning to Rosalina she gave the woman another gentle smile. "How are you feeling?" she whispered, worried about her health while not wanting her to overtax herself.

"Ro-" Darius started to protest but thought better of it as Calista's eyes wavered between the two. "Well, just make sure you get enough rest. It would be terrible you became ill because you pushed yourself too hard," Calista remarked, concern in her eyes.
"Exactly." Darius told Rosalina. "See I am not the only one who feels as such."
"Father how are you?" Calista asked then.
"I'm fine, my child," Daniel remarked before shooting the mage a glance of warning to remain silent on his mild heart attack.
Catching her father's look, Calista turned her attention to Gareth. "Love, what's going?" she whispered.
"Nothing to concern yourself over now, dearest," Gareth remarked.
"Father, Gareth? What's wrong?" she questioned, feeling as if her throat were about to close up on her. "I know that look, Abba! Something happened! What won't you both tell me?" she demanded as a squeak came into her voice and her face paled.

"Not a word, Gareth." Daniel warned the mage as Calista's eyes darted back and forth between them.
"Abba, what happened?" Calista implored, the worry continuing to mount within her, feeling as if the fear would strangle her at a moment. "Please someone tell me!" she begged, tears starting to form in her eyes.
"Your father...Your father had a minor heart attack," Gareth finally said softly.
"What-?" Calista screeched as her face turned ashen at the mage's words as she drew in labored breaths.
"See, I knew this would happen!" Daniel yelled at Gareth. "Why do you think I told you to keep this between us?!"
"Don't be angry with him father," Calista interjected softly. "You are my father. My only father and if your health is at risk, I have a right to know. Please, Abba. Just take care of yourself. I will be fine. And you my mage," Calista began as she turned to Gareth. "You should rest. You have been already done too much work because of me already."

Rosalina was shocked to hear about the heart attack. On hearing Calista's words to Gareth she sighed. "Darius and I have been trying to make him rest with shifts, your father as well." Rosliana looked at the group. "I think we still should. I know your awake now Calista, but your still very weak." She bit her lip, remebering the shuddering Calista's body had undergone.

Calista gave Rosalina a small smile at her words. "I thank you for your concern," she said weakly, "but I cannot ask you are Darius to keep watching over me. If you have already been taking shifts, then you have done plenty for me already," she added softly before letting her gaze fall on Daniel and Gareth. "But you my father and my mage need to rest."
"I am not leaving your side," Gareth told her stubbornly. "Nor can I relax, not until I know that you have made a full recovery," he added as he put an arm around her and pulled her close.
"Gareth, I'm fi--" she started to say when her intestinal wall began to spasm, sending wave of pain pulsing throughout her body. Crying out in pain as she placed a hand over her abdomen as she doubled over, her face growing pale.
"Calista!" Gareth yelled horrified as he had her lie down again, resting her head in his lap. "What can I do?" he asked as he lightly caressed her face. Unable to answer him as the waves of pain became worse, Calista could only squeeze her eyes shut as another moan escaped from her lips and she drew in labored breaths.

Rosalina paled. She looked at the woman and frowned as she tried to figure out what was going on. It wasn't a seizure, but seeing the pain, Rosalina felt she knew this. But from where?

"Daughter!" Daniel yelled wondering what this new attack could be, the worry shining in his eyes. Frowning as he watched Calista writhe in pain, Darius could not help but feel pity for the woman. Knowing that this was going to upset Rosalina, he wrapped an arm around his love's shoulders as he just pulled her closer to him.
"I-I'll be f-fine..." Calista stammered, seeing the worry in the faces around her.
"Squeeze, my hand, love" Gareth whispered to her as he took her hand in his. As another pulse of pain hit her, Calista cried out in agony again as she instinctively gripped Gareth's hand although her grasp was weak. Seeing her suffer so, broke Gareth's heart in twain and hearing her cry out in agony again made the mage wish that he could endure her pain instead if it would only take away her suffering. He wanted to offer her some words of comfort, but did not know what to say as her face contorted with pain.

As Rosalina watched, reconicition entered her eyes. "I know what it is. I know this. Its not dangerous, but it can be painful depending on the sevarity." SHe said and went to Calista. "Calista I need you to try and relax. Gareth I need something warm to put on her stomach."
