Hearing Rosalina cough harder, Darius only found his worry for her intensifying. "Ro...do not...do not push yourself," he told her weakly. "Please...for my sake....rest..."

"Calista?" Gareth whispered as he continued to watch her, wanting to make sure that she was all right. As another moan escaped from her lips, Gareth felt himself grow a bit more concerned. "Love, what's wrong? Are you in pain?" he asked her though she did not respond.

Rosalina shook her head, she was about to tell him when she started to cough longer and harder. So much she had to cling to the bed.

"Ro..." Darius whispered, the worry he felt for her clearly mounting within him. "Someone...help..." he muttered weakly, wishing that someone could help his love.

Moaning softly once more, Calista's eyes slowly fluttered opened.
"Love, are you all right?" Gareth asked her, worry shining in his eyes.
"I think so..." Calista murmured weakly. "Why?"
"You were moaning rather loudly a few minutes ago."
"I was?" Calista asked weakly.
"Yes, my love," Gareth replied gently as he gently caressed her cheek.
Frowning, Calista was about to reply when she thought she heard strange noises coming from the guestroom. "Love, what's that sound?" she asked weakly, still a bit dazed.
"It sounds like coughing." Gareth remarked.
"Rosalina...Darius..." Calista remarked as she tried to rise so she could help them.
"No," Gareth told her firmly as laid her gently back down on the bed. "Stay here. I will check on them. You just rest," he added firmly before kissing her lips lightly and leaving the room before she could protest.

Rosalina couldn't stop coughing, she tried but it made it worse. Her coughing got so bad she fell off the chair and was kneeling on the floor beside the bed.

"Ro.." Darius whispered, fear in his voice. Finally managing to force his eyes open, he looked all over the room for her and finally caught sight of her kneeling on the ground. Groaning, he tried to get up to go to her, but ended up falling back on the bed instead. Someone help her, he thought to himself.

Heading outside to gather some berries first, Gareth finally made his way to Rosalina's room a few minutes later. Grabbing a cup, he squeezed the juice into a cup and held it out to Rosalina. "Rosalina, I am going to need you to try and drink this," he told her softly as Darius looked on with worry in his eyes.

Lying in bed for a few minutes more, Calista found that she could not remain still...that she needed to check on Darius and Rosalina. Slowly climbing out of bed, she managed to take a few unsteady steps toward the dresser to use it for support. Yet, as she neared the object, a wave of dizziness hit her and she toppled over, striking her head as she fell forward and lay knocked out cold on the ground.

Rosalina and took the cup, and drank from it, trying not to cough as she did. When the cup was empty, Rosalina sat, breathing heavily, the urge to cough fading. "Thanks." she said horsly.

Gareth nodded as Rosalina finished drinking and took the cup from her. "You need to rest," the mage told her quietly as he remained by her side while she continued to breathe heavily. "If your cough gets any worse, it could be problematic to your health," he added.

Meanwhile, Darius breathed a sigh of relief when Rosalina stopped coughing although the hoarseness in her voice was not lost upon him. "Ro, please rest..." he begged her weakly, not wanting her to injure herself.

"Rosalina, if you don't rest you could become very ill." Gareth told her. "Then you wont be able to help Darius or yourself," he added, while thinking what a hypocrite he sounded like especially since he did not want to rest until he knew that Calista would be all right.

"Ro...please just relax..." Darius whispered to her. "I don't...want you to become sick again..." he whispered as he drew in a deep breath. "I will be...okay...but I need to know...that you will be," he added weakly.

"All right," Gareth told Rosalina softly. "But you are to rest, do you understand me?" he added. Once he made sure Rosalina and Darius were okay, he needed to let Calista know what happened, knowing that she would probably be worried out of her mind for her friends.

Rosalina nodded and got onto the bed, passing out to sleep the moment she laid down beside Darius.

Weakly wrapping his arm around Rosalina as she fell asleep next to him, Darius gave Gareth a small smile of appreciation before falling asleep as well.

Leaving the couple their rest, Gareth headed back to Calista's room and felt his heart drop as he saw the woman unconscious on the floor. "Calista!" he shouted as he quickly rushed to her side. Kneeling beside her, he gently scooped the lifeless woman into his arms and grimaced as he fresh blood coming from the gash she received when her forehead struck the drawer. "Love, what on earth were you thinking?" he remarked as he gently carried her over to the bed and tenderly laid her upon it.

Darius fell into a troubled sleep at Rosalina's side, the harshness of his love's breathing unnerving him immensely.

Adding water to the paste that he created earlier, Gareth mixed the balm to the proper consistency before applying it upon her fresh wound. Once finished, he tenderly bandaged her head once again. "Why couldn't you just stay in bed?" the mage asked the unconscious woman as he lovingly caressed her pale cheek.
