A few minutes later, Gareth stirred as he finally awoke. Opening his eyes, he smiled slightly as he saw Calista gazing down at him. "A man could get used to waking in the presence of an angel," he remarked as he propped himself up on his arm as he turned to her. "How are you feeling, my love?" the mage asked her next before leaning forward to kiss her lightly on the lips. Blushing at Gareth's words, Calista returned his kiss just as gently before replying. "I will be all right. But you my mage have not rested nearly enough for all the work you have done..." Calista said softly as she gazed at Gareth with worry in her eyes. In truth she still felt drained and weak but she did not want anyone to have to take care of her any longer.

Returning Rosalina's kiss just as gently, Darius could only sigh a response. "Do not overwork yourself, Ro," he warned her sternly, not wanting her to get sick again.

Rosalina nodded before she made her way to Calista's room. Entering she blushed. "I wanted to see how Calista was." she told them.

Looking up as Rosalina entered her room, Calista gave Rosalina a warm smile. Her head was still bandaged from the second time Gareth tended to her wounds. "I'm all right," Calista remarked, though her voice was still a bit weak and Gareth could only pray that she did not push herself too far. "How are you?" she asked Rosalina next. "And how is Darius? Can I do anything to help?"
Not at all pleased that Calista wanted to push herself some more when she should still be resting, Gareth only tightened his grip around her waist, although he made no comment.

Rosalina smiled sadly. "I am well. Darius is weak still, but my hopes are growing." she told them. "And to help, rest. Please."

Giving Rosalina a sympathetic smile when she remarked that Darius was still weak, Calista could only sigh when Rosalina told her to rest.
"You sound just like Gareth," Calista remarked with a tight smile.
"And yet you still refuse to rest," Gareth remarked. "How many concussions are you trying to give yourself?" the mage snapped.
"Gareth, I'm fine..." Calista replied and Gareth scoffed at her words.
"And if you were all right why did I find you unconscious on the floor with another gash on your forehead?" Gareth challenged her.
Calista bit her lip and averted her gaze. "I just felt a bit dizzy. There is nothing to be concerned over," she remarked and Gareth growled slightly in both frustration and worry.

Lying back on the bed, Darius just stared up at the ceiling, hoping that Rosalina did not wear herself out.

After Rosalina left, all of Gareth's frustrations just about boiled to the surface.
"Calista do you even care that you could permanently injure yourself?" he asked her, his voice harsh.
"I cannot simply just lie back and do nothing when I could help to look after my friends," Calista retorted.
"And what happens if you end up working yourself to the point of death?" Gareth challenged her.
"I will stop before then..." Calista replied and Gareth could only let out a bitter laugh in response.

Deciding to try and see how Rosalina was doing, Darius slowly tried to sit up in bed.

Just then Rosalina walked in. "Darius, stop." she rushed over and made him lay back. "Don't, I don't want you to leave the bed for a while. Not unitl your stronger." she said.

Darius sighed as Rosalina made him lie back down. He was already restless by nature and being restrained to the bed was utterly frustrating for him. "Must I truly stay here?" he grumbled, not at all happy about his current restriction.

"Gareth, I'm fi-" Calista started to say before a sharp pain from her abdomen caused her to double over and fall against Gareth.
"Calista!" the mage exclaimed as he wrapped an arm around her as they lay on the bed. "What's wrong?" he whispered, the anger in his voice disappearing at once.
"My stomach..." Calista whispered before another groan escaped from her lips.

Sighing to himself, Darius merely shook his head. "Ro, I'll be fine. But I promise you, I will go mad if I have to stay confined in bed for long," he complained.

"Just breathe, Rose," Gareth whispered to Calista as he gently laid her back down on the bed. "Just breathe and relax," he murmured soothingly as he lightly began to rub her stomach, hoping that it would help to alleviate some of her pain.

Grimacing as another wave of pain hit her, Calista did her best to try and breathe and relax as Gareth instructed her too, although the pulses of pain made it hard for her to do so as her body tightened as the alternating flashes of agony grew worse.

Returning Rosalina's kiss, Darius just gave her a small smile. "But after that my dear, all bets are off," he remarked with a slight smirk.

"Bad..." Calista whimpered in too much agony to lie to him. Another groan escaped from her lips as a pulse of pain seemed to tear through the very walls of her stomach.
