Darius started to groan softly on the bed.

Once he entered her room, Gareth walked over to the bed and gently laid Calista down before tucking her in. "Please, my love, pull through," Gareth whispered before he pressed a light kiss to the top of her head.

Groaning again, Darius's eyelids began to twitch as he started to come around. "Ro..." he whispered, his voice hoarse before he coughed slightly.

Sitting at Calista's bedside, Gareth took her limp hand in his. "Please Rose. Please wake up," he begged softly, yet the woman remained completely lifeless at his words.

Groaning softly again, Darius finally managed to open his eyes slightly and gave Rosalina a weak smile. "Is-is-everything---okay...?" he murmured.

Brushing a strand of blonde hair back from Calista's pale face, Gareth could only sigh sadly. "What's wrong, my love?" he whispered, as he lightly caressed her cheek, only able to pray to heaven that she would be well.

Darius listened quietly as Rosalina told him everything that happened, starting with his seizure and then everything that happened with Calista. "Do---do you---think she will be---all right?" Darius croaked out. "And...how are you...doing?" he asked Rosalina weakly.

Darius gave Rosalina a weak smile, glad that she was all right. "I-I will try and rest," he remarked softly. "I was...so worried about you.....that you...had gotten...sick...again," Darius added weakly.

Pulling her closer, Darius continued to kiss Rosalina as passionately as he could despite his weakened condition.

Rising to his feet, Gareth quickly made his way back to his room to grab some reviving herbs and then stepped outside to draw water from the well. Bringing the bucket of water and the herbs back into the Calista's room, he set them on the side as he knelt by her bedside and swept her into his arms. "Come on, love, wake up," Gareth whispered to her as he shook the unconscious woman gently. Yet, she did not make a single sound as her body flopped with his movements almost as if she were a ragged doll while her head hung over his arm. When that did not work, Gareth gently tried tapping her cheek to see if that would rouse her, but she still remained limp and unresponsive. Checking her over then, the mage checked to make sure her dress was not too tight, but found that it wasn't. Next he dipped his fingers in the cold water and splashed her face lightly but the woman still did not respond. "Calista, please, wake up..." Gareth pleaded, desperation in his voice as he patted her cheeks again with his damp fingers before drawing her limp body up against him. Yet, all of his ministrations and pleading were in vain, Calista was out cold.

Smiling at her gentle caress, Darius lightly ran his fingers through her dark tresses.

"Calista, please," Gareth whispered as he held her limp body close. Laying her down on the bed again, Gareth picked up the herbs and placed them on the bed next to him. Lifting her up again, Gareth picked up a herb and placed it under her nose, hoping it would revive her. Yet, Calista still did not stir and she just remained lifeless in her arms.
