Calista remained asleep where she was, head resting on her arms at the table.

When Gareth returned he found both women asleep and the mixture of blood, berry juice and vomit on the ground. Figuring that Rosalina had vomited, the mage sighed sadly as he set the herbs down on the table, grabbed an old rag and used the remaining water to clean up the mess before walking outside to draw more water from the well. Upon returning to the room, he set the bucket of water on the side before gently lifting Calista from the chair and into his arms as he sat down on the chair. Groaning softly at the change in position though her eyes remained close, the girl just snuggled against Gareth before falling back asleep.

Rosalina turned over, coughing a bit again, and like before, it died.

Gareth became instantly alert as he heard Rosalina coughing. Yet he breathed a soft sigh of relief when it died, and relaxed just a little. Glancing down at the sleeping woman in his arms, he was glad that Rosalina's cough had not woken her, knowing that it would only worry his beloved all the more and right now her body needed to rest.

Calista just slept on peacefully, her head resting against her mage's chest.

Hearing Rosalina start to mumble, Gareth rose from the chair and with Calista still in his arms, he moved to the bed and sat down at the edge of it, carefully monitoring Rosalina.

Seeing Rosalina frown, Gareth gently laid Calista down on the bed before moving closer to her friend. "Rosalina," he said her name softly trying to wake her.

"Rosalina!" Gareth called out again as the woman started crying and trembling in fear. Waking at the mage's shout, Calista groaned and yawned as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes. Thinking that she still needed to rest, Gareth silently cursed at the timing of it all, wishing he could find some way to calm down the terrified woman.
