"What's going on?" Calista muttered sleepily as she looked at Gareth, wondering how she got to the bed.
"Rosalina is having nightmares," Gareth said softly. "And calling out for Darius."
"But we can't let him see her like this. Not until he is stronger," Calista protested.
"I know," Gareth said softly. "But what if she needs him?"
Sighing, Calista moved closer to Rosalina. "Rosalina, it's okay. You are safe," she whispered.

"Gareth!" Calista exclaimed panic in her voice, as she quickly got off the bed to see if she could assist Gareth in making the brew.
Seeing her get off the bed, the mage sighed but made no comment as he quickly rekindled the fire and started to boil water in the pot as Calista began to crush the herbs.

Hearing Rosalina start to gag, Calista tried to crush the herbs faster. When she was finally finished, Gareth quickly gathered them and threw them in a pot and let them boil in the warm water.

With the brew finally finished, Gareth scooped some of it in a cup before walking over to Rosalina and shook her to try and rouse her again.

Rosalina stopped, she stoped couging and gaging and lay limply asleep, her breathing harsh from the coughing.

"She's asleep again," Gareth remarked wondering if he should try to wake her so she could drink the elixir that would hopefully stop the backflow of acid into her throat.
