Gareth continued to look through Calista's chests for medicinal berries. Upon finding a few that could numb pain, Gareth walked back over to the pot and squeezed the berry juice into the brew. Once everything was properly mixed, he threw the cold elixir out of the window before scooping a fresh cup for Rosalina. "Here," Gareth told her gently as he handed her the cup. "The berry juice should help to numb the pain and the brew should stop acid production when you lie down."

Slowly awakening, Calista groaned softly as she yawned before she rubbing the sleep from her eyes. Finding herself on the bed, she blinked a few times before sitting up. Looking around the room, she spotted Rosalina crying it Gareth's arms. "What's wrong?" she asked, her face paling as her eyes filled with worry for her friend.
"She can't speak..." Gareth remarked softly, not knowing how they would be able to help her.

"Do you think this is temporary?" Calista asked feeling her heart break for her friend at her fiance's words.
