Watching as Rosalina turned her attention back to the book in front of her, Gareth sighed and did the same. Calista still remained engrossed in the book she was reading, trying to see if she could find something that would help her friend.

"Let's take a break," Gareth finally said, his words directed mainly at Calista. "There is a better chance that we will be able to spot something if our eyes and minds are fresh."
Sighing softly Calista nodded, not wanting to argue with Gareth. Turning to Rosalina she gave her friend a sad smile. "Do you want anything to eat or drink?" she asked her.

"All right," Calista remarked with a smile as she rose to her feet. "I will make a meal for all of us."
"Calista!" Gareth exclaimed, worried that she was going to push herself to far and collapse again.
"I'll be fine, love. Besides, we all need to eat," she added. "And don't worry, Rosalina. I won't tell Darius what is going on until he is stronger," she added with a small smile. "Now, Gareth can you look after Rosalina while I prepare food for all us of?" she asked her mage gently.

Gareth nodded as he rose to his feet and gently took Calista's chin between his fingers and tenderly lifted her face up to his. "I will make sure she is well. Don't push yourself too hard," he whispered to her before pressing a light kiss to her forehead.
"Don't worry, love. I will be fine," Calista remarked softly before she gave him a soft smile and left for the kitchen.

Turning back to Rosalina, Gareth gave the woman a sad smile. "Darius will be soon well enough," he remarked, well at least that was what he was hoping would be true.
