Calista had just finished serving her father and Darius their meals before she carried a tray of food containing three plates of food and the necessary utensils into her room. "Meal is ready," she remarked softly. "I apologize that it took so long," she added with a small smile, sounding a bit breathless.
"Calista..." Gareth started to say, worried that she was going to overtax her strength although she just shook her head in reply.
