Mark stumbled his way down the train corridor, awkwardly hauling his trunk along beside him. He peeked into a compartment where a bushy-haired girl was standing there, talking to two others. Hopefully they were all first years. "Hi," he said nervously, adjusting his glasses self-consciously. "C-c-can I s-s-s-sit here w-w-with you? All the o-o-o-other c-c-c-compartments are f-f-f-full." He had a major stuttering problem.

"Sure, we need more people here" said Brett with slight smile and made a place for new boy, moving nearer window.

Hermione loked at the newcomer and said with know-it-all voice: "That talk can be fixed by simple spell...just let me..." but she stopped, feeling on her the look of Brett. He felt that Hermione wanted to show off.

Mark walked in to sit with Brett, trying to reach up to put his trunk on the storage place above. He was really short. Finally he managed to get his things up there, and sat down next to Brett. "I'm M-M-Mark," he said a bit nervously as always. "W-w-w-who are you?"

"My name's Brett" said young student and gave the hand to Mark. "And this girl next to me is Psyche. We were talking about houses."

Hermione made a snort and left, leaving them alone.

"And I thought I will like her..." said Psyche about Hermione but when she left, she focused on newcomer. He was for sure shy and it was their duty to make him moreopen. Afterall, they all will be friends when the school will start.

"Yes, Brett doesn't like to be in Hufflepuff" she laughed. "His father would be...not in best of moods if it happened."

"Eeh, it's just talking" said Brett, smiling. "My father always tells me that if I get anything but Slytherin, I will be crewed. How can we take our parents seriously"? he laughed nervously.

She said it also about Brett who looked anything but excited.

"I don't think it's a problem" said Brett. "I am not into this "muggle-borns are worse than purebloods. It's stupid. My father would say it's importnat to keep the line of wizards blood but who really cares? Most of current old families are mixed with muggles...in the past, I think."

"Yes, in my house, painting of the ancestors also are moving. And talking and it's not always the best thing in the world. Imagine old grandgrandma sobbing over how stupid my father is...all the time..." Brett was not amused by the vision of old grandma talking about HIM in such manner but at least she was limiting her cries to his dad.

Morgan wandered along the train's corridor, with her owl in its cage balancing on top of her trunk. She'd decided to leave her compartment filled with annoying boys who could only talk about how expensive their broomsticks were and how they would surely make it to their House's Quidditch team this year. After passing several crowded seats, she found a compartment with only three other students. "Hi, would it be okay if I sit here with you? Everywhere else is a bit full."
