We don't know whether they're going to die, but we do know that both Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill are leaving the show after the 5th episode. Then the new companion will be introduced a few months later at the Christmas special.  _________________   Sig set and banner by the amazing Nurr!!

If Rory was the master that would be awesome.  But if he's leaving... that can't happen... Whatever it is I am glad Amy is leaving! She is just... ugh. Makes me want to reach through the screen and slap her, a lot of times. So Ara... do you happen to also know who the next companion is?

Jenna-Louise Coleman, the girl who played Oswin in last night's episode! I'm not sure how they'll do that, but I'm sure it will mess with our minds. XD I personally think that Oswin is going to turn out to be the new companion's great-great-great-granddaughter or something of that sort (remember, the Doctor never saw what Oswin looked like, he only heard her voice). But we'll see!

@Ara: ooh sounds interesting! XD Can't wait! Where do you get all this information??  @Shadow: there's a Doctor Who thread? O.o Last thing I watched was The Dalek Invasion of Earth (several episodes with the 1st doctor)

@Feanor: I have liked a bunch of Doctor Who stuff on facebook, so I get updates that way, and I also follow Stephen Moffat on twitter for official announcements (like the new companion) and then there's filming pics and other spoilery news I get from tumblr! The Clubs forum is a gem, I must say. It's a little dead at the moment, but there's usually good stuff going on there. Anyway, continued my Game of Thrones binge. I had an insight, which is that Richard Madden is actually very pretty, and even though I think Robb Stark is boring, I like his face.  _________________

Finally watched the last 2 episodes of the first season of Game of Thrones. So. Much. Hate. For. Ned.  Ultimate unpopular opinion, but I can't remember the last time I wanted to punch a fictional character this bad. _________________
