					| I think based on the movie, Dwalin and Bofur are my favorites. Dwalin seems like a cool guy to hang out with, although like Lhun I do think he's a bit intimidating Bofur is just ridiculously lovely. I mean, how he talks to Bilbo in the goblin cave, he's so nice! And in Rivendell when they're eating, he just seems like so much fun. I think he'd be a lot of fun to be around _________________

					| I have a ridiculous amount of Love for Dwalin too, he seems like a tough nut, but his affection for Thorin and Balin really show through. I think he's my favourite design-wise too, and I have an inexplicable love for Graham McTavish after seeing the films.
I don't think I can pick a favourite (ok I lie, it's totally Fili cause I think he's best looking) because most of the dwarves have little quirks or traits that make them loveable. I find Oin and Bifur especially hilarious and Bofur really seems like the nicest dwarf you'd ever meet. I guess I like Nori and Ori the least, just cause Nori didn't really do much and I expected Ori to be more like the naive baby than the petulant teenager than he was. I love Jed and Adam though!!!

					| Any favorite dwarf scenes or lines? I adored the entire scene where they all arrive at Bilbo's, and clean out his food cellar, and then clean up! Its like I had always pictured it in my mind, chaotic yet organized in a way all at the same time, and so much fun! _________________ Wed Killian Jones (Captain Hook) 4/20/13

					| ^ Balin and Dwalin before the rest of them arrive are absolutely amazing. With the blue cheese and Bilbo's "apology"--so well done. _________________ - married fingon fingolfinion 6/4/13 -

					| ^Agreed! I really love all the scenes in Bag End. And Fili and Kili when they've lost the ponies - priceless _________________

					| ^ Yes, all scenes in Bag End were amazing! They show perfectly how overthrown Bilbo is by this company of Dwarves that just comes barging in unexpectedly I also loved the part where they are surrounded by Elves in Rivendel, and Elrond starts to speak to them. After Gandalf translates they all huddle together to deliberate for a moment, and then they just want food Oh and the scene in the troll-cave! Thorin picked up the swords and admired them for a moment, but as soon as Gandalf mentions they were forged in Gondoline he withdraws his hand and makes this "Ew what did I just touch"-face! _________________

					| Oh the part with the ponies! Sending Bilbo ahead while they hang back with the bowls of food! That was hilarious. And agreed, huddling together in Rivendell and deciding they wanted food was humorous as well. I also loved the part when the trolls had them all bagged up, and Bilbo is talking about them having parasites! "I do not have parasites!" *kick* "I've got parasites as big as my arm!" My brothers like to quote that scene. (they laughed quite a bit, and seemed to really enjoy the movie, so yay!)_________________ Wed Killian Jones (Captain Hook) 4/20/13

					| ^Ah yes, how could I forget the parasites part I loved the little pause after Thorin's kick, just enough time for everyone to think about what's actually going on, before starting shouting again. And when they sing the Misty Mountains song.. It gives me goosebumps every time _________________

					| Welcome Maneth Maybe you can tell why he's your favorite? This afternoon I had a fun conversation with my brother. He asked about Tolkien's Dwarves and the Dwarves from the Hobbit in particular, so I dug up some pictures and starting explaining about every single one of them. Apparently I was able to convey my new found Dwarf love to him, because now I've convinced him to go and see the Hobbit with me tomorrow _________________

					| Do you mind if I join? Due to constant viewings of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey my favorite character has changed (yet again) from the Witch-King to Thorin Oakenshield. This is the first time in ten years that I've had a favorite on the lighter side. I always tend to go for those in power for some reason (with my present favorite, looks is definately a factor), whether they're good or evil. Maybe I just like being in control, though I don't think I would be a good leader (but some people may think otherwise). I also seem to like the tougher types (ones you might be afraid to approach), since I like a good challenge. Some of my other favorites include Balin (in the absense of Gimli, I like his storytelling) and Bofur. The look on Bilbo's face when he explains exactly how Smaug the dragon might "incinerate" him is priceless (I don't think I would have fainted if somebody told me that, but then again, I don't scare that easily). _________________ ♥ Married Owen Grady 8/25/16 ♥

Bofur appreciation though. His hat. His little twirly mustache. What a babe.
