I like Thorin and was sad when he died, but he should be nicer to Kili and Fili and the Elves!!!

I like them in order from best to least -- Kill, Fili,Bofur, Pro, Dori, Nori, Balin,Gloin, Oin,Bombur, Bifur, Dwalin, Thorin(sorry Alatariel, I just can't like him!! I like him but...!)

Bombur and Balin because Balin was so supportive of Bilbo the whole way through and Bombur because he's funny 'cause he was always on about food, especially in Mirkwood.

I have only finished the first chapter this morning, but so far my favortie is Thorin. He is just so matter-of-fact and passionate about his intentions on getting his home back from Smaug.

Thorin Oakenshield.
I liked him as a character, because he had more depth to him. Like, he was the only one that really had a reason to be on the adventure. All of the other dwarves were just there. Like their true purpose was just to total the number of dwarves up to 13 or something.

Of course Thorin had more depth in him, but of course everyone was there for a reason!

Actually... the first couple of times I read it, I started to wonder why exactly all those dwarves were there, and why most of them hardly did anything. I kept getting their names confused, and having to go back to chapter 1 to see who was supposed to wear what colour cloak, and who was supposed to be younger etc.
I get it now, because I've probably read the book 6 times. But even now, it's a little confusing. And, because all their names are so simular, when I was having a conversation with my friend, I kept calling Bofur 'Bilfur.' I have no idea where that come from.
