After reading some heated debates on the internet I was wondering how you guys feel about Kili using a bow as his weapon of choice?

I've read several people arguing that bows are not 'real' Dwarvish weapons, and that Kili using one only adds to his non-Dwarvenness, which was already high because his lack of beard and overall good looks. On the other hand others say that Dwarves should also use long distance weapons such as bows, as they cannot always rely on their skills in close combat.

From an evolutionary perspective *ahem ahem* I'd say it's pretty smart to expand your weaponry to include untraditional weapons such as bows, because that can give you advantage in battle.

^ I'm okay with it! It kind of makes him cooler :P I also think dwarves should use bows and I think they do. I saw a picture with Thorin using a bow.
It's so weird how my fave characters are archers.
Like, I really like Legolas and Bard and Haldir and Kili and Hawkeye.
Weird in some way.
