(Sorry I haven't posted... @_@ really been out of sorts lately... )
"Well... I am an archer, as are most forest elves, and I have mastered the broadblade as well, and I also wield twin elven daggers, so my skills are varied. Oh... and I believe I failed to mention to the Lady Deawen, that I have also been well taught in the skill of healing." she finished with a smile.

Eleshna seemed somewhat taken aback, "I would be honored to serve in their unit, but I am far from qualifying, I'm sure..."

Artinwe got up and stoked the fire outside. He started looking for Morwen, but she wasn't in the camp. She left... she always had said goodbye before. Oh, well. They could visit her later. He did not see much point in their expeditions. The Rohan and Gondorian armies were sufficient for the extermination of orcs and other wicked peoples. He wanted peace, and he knew that he would never sail to Aman; that would mean forsaking Deawen. That he could not do.

Eleshna looked up, hearing the shouting of the scout. Her hand strayed to her sword hilt out of instinctive habit.

(Okay, for Old English I go to http://www.mun.ca/Ansaxdat/vocab/wordlist.html. It's rather nice. Yes, and I met Darcy properly today. She is very...strange, to say the least.)
Morwen ran back to camp, grabbed Breda, swung herself up, and went to find Deawen.[/url]

Eleshna did not know what sort of manuvers she would be required to do, but figured she'd follow along with whatever the others do. She was used to blending in, and fitting in anywhere, as long as they didn't ask her too many questions...

Hearing the shouts of the scout, Artinwe Unslung his bow from his back and fitted an arrow to it (bear in mind that A bow of the Galadhrim has no need to be unstrung). He waited for the orcs to come, then loosed his arrow at the point of their formation. He continued to fire, along with a small group of archers, into the orcs' ranks, until they were too close for bows. Artinwe drew his glaive from behind his back, and hacked an orc's legs from underneath him. He allowed three orcs to impale themselves before he withdrew the blade and sliced an orc's head clean from its shoulders. "Where is Deawen?" his mind prodded. "I must find Deawen!"

Eleshna fired alongside the archers, then drew her sword, cutting through the orcs easily enough, but trying to avoid getting in the way of the other phantoms fighting near her. She would usually fight alone, and rarely would she join so many others in a battle and participate in their stratagy. Ducking the blow of an orc's heavy blade, she drove her sword through its chest. Quickly pulling out a long dagger, Eleshna thrusted it into another orc coming at her, while she pulled her sword out of the orc carcass. One handed, she swung her sword behind her, decapitating a rather large orc. She kept up with the onflow of orcs as best she could alongside the phantoms.

(Oh, too much turkey...)
Morwen was riding through the thicker parts of the orcs' ranks, fighting in the style of the Rohirrim. (On horseback, as shown in the Two Towers scene w/ wargs.) She had been favouring her axe lately, perhaps because of lack of use in other battles. She was relatively good at it, in the least.
The orcs were afraid because she was mounted, but one of the bigger ones decided to charger her. She turned Breda sharply, letting the momentum of her horse drive the axe into his chest. Another came at her from the opposite side. Morwen pulled the axe out and slammed the blade into the place where the orc's shoulder, just next to its neck (what would that be called?). As she had stopped riding, more orcs were coming at her. "Mæl eow irnan, Breda." She jumped off and slapped his rump. Breda ran away to the camp as she had ordered. Putting two hands on the axe, she twirled it with a smirk as more of the enemy descended.
