Micha didn't sleep the night, but he slept enough to feel refreshed and ready to go. He woke with a start, clamoring for his sword, and a stern look on his face.

His look softened and his hands stayed his sword when he remembered where he was and he felt Sygnet next to him. It took his eyes a moment to re-adjust to the low lighting.

"I've slept too long..." he murmured. "Did you get any rest at all?" he asked Sygnet.

Sygnet shifted back from him as he stirred. She knew it was best not to calm him down after a nightmare. "Some," she lied. It wouldn't do him good if he knew the truth. She hadn't rested at all but stayed awake watching him sleep, even thought it was only a little.

Micha stood to his feet and offered a hand to Sygnet to help her to her feet. "Your not a very good liar you know..." he said with a smirk mixed with a concerned glare. He figured the "little" rest was little more than sitting there. "Hows your wound?"

Sygnet laughed and stood up, taking his hand, "I feel better than I do knowing I'm a bad liar," she chuckled again, "I am ready to get moving," she took a deep breath.

Micha promptly grabbed Sygnet's horse and brought it to her side. "Let me help you on. The caves are tall enough for a rider... at least for the first few hours."

Sygnet accepted his help because it would make him feel better. She mounted her horse and settled down in the saddle, "Thank you," she smiled.

Micha knew Sygnet liked to do things on her own, but he didn't want her stressing her injury. He lead the way through the caves, down the little trodden path to the other side of the misty mountains. There were a few places Sygnet would have to duck low to get under the ceiling but the caverns opened back up.

Micha didn't stop when night time came... not that he could really tell when night came... or was it morning? Either way, he kept walking until he could walk no more. One stop later they were making camp yet again and the next day they would see daylight on the other side.

Sygnet rode her horse as much as she could. She knew Micha was tired, which only meant that getting to Lothlorien was essential. Then, she would make him sleep until he was well-rested.

(I'll skip ahead a bit to where they make it out of the tunnel)

That night Micha slept about the same as the last time. Wrestles and little, but at least it was something. After a meager meal they headed out once more and at long last light shone in the distance.

"There," Micha said. "The end of the tunnel." He reminded himself in the back of his mind that Sygnet had no doubt seen the light long before he did.

Sygnet smiled, "We're close," she chuckled slightly. She would be glad to get out of the darkness and in Lorien, they would be safe. She could heal and he could rest and they could be happy. Maybe she could visit her mother.

Once they made it out of the caverns there was a steep slant down a gully and over some more rocks to reach the base of the mountains. It was a little bit of a task for the horses to keep their footing but they managed. Once down on the ground at the base of the mountains and looking up at the cave entrance one could see no evidence of a cave at all. Micha often wondered how many people knew of passage.

Micha squinted at the bright light, his eyes re-adjusting. "It's nice to be in the sun again," he said, to no one in particular necessarily. Then he looked back to Sygnet. "You ready? I know you were uneasy about going back to Lorien."

Sygnet nodded, "It will be good to go home," she gazed off into the distance at the Mallorn trees. She was glad to be home. She took a deep breath in. The air smelled sweet and comforting. The Shadow had yet to reach here and she hoped it never did.

Micha nodded, glad to know Sygnet was lookig forward to their destination. He had been around the Lorien area before but staying in Loth Lorien would be a new experience for him. He was anxiouse a bit. He wasn't sure what to expect but hoped for a good peaceful time to rest and recooperate for him and Sygnet both.

Once they were out of the tunnels he let Sygnet lead the way. He would follow her lead as they were in her eliment and out of his own.

Sygnet led the way, eventually getting to a certain point and dismounting her horse. She walked ever onward, eyes trained on the trees that towered above them, eventually, she stopped, released the reins she held and stepped forward, looking up.

Suddenly, Elven soldiers descended from the trees and surrounded the group. Sygnet looked at one of them and smiled, "Haldir," she chuckled at him.

Haldir laughed, "Sygnet, it has been too long," he greeted and enveloped her in a thought hug.

When he left her go, Sygnet turned to Micha, "Haldir, this is Micha, Micha, this is Haldir. A very old friend of mine," she chuckled.

Haldir inclined his head to Micha respectfully, "A pleasure to meet you," he gave a small smile.

Micha noticed Sygnet dismount and did likewise. When she stopped he stopped. He had heard tell that the elves watched in the trees. Soon the tales proved true as the contingent of elven soldiers greeted them.

Micha nodded back to Haldir after his greeting of Sygnet. He said nothing at the moment. He figured Sygnet best do the talking at this point. He was in unfamiliar territory. As much as he tried he could not completely relax, still being surrounded by the elves who seemed to eye him suspiciously... or was that just his paranoia?

Sygnet and Haldir exchanged a few words before Haldir turned to Micha, "Sygnet has agreed to vouche for you. Thus, you will not have to wear a blindfold into Caras Galadhon," he nodded at the two, "If you will follow me," he lead the way through the giant trees. The group of elves escorted them, weapons sheathed.

Sygnet was smiling, leading her horse onward, following an small path that led deeper into the heart of the forest. She felt better to be there, even her side was feeling less irritated.

"Sygnet, I notice you walk differently. Is something wrong?" asked Haldir.

"There was a bear attack a while ago. Micha saved my life but I got hit. An infection later hit and I was confined to Hospital in Rivendell. However, an Orc raid not a few days ago in Eregion only made it come back. Not as severe but I would be glad for some healing from the elves," Sygnet explain, placing one hand on her left side to show him where she had gotten the injury.
