My dog is obsessed with toy hedgehogs. His initial one is in 'hospital' awaiting stitches due to a 'de-stuffing' incident. I bought him two more today - one as a backup, and one hidden away for emergencies.
He had been without "Hedge" for a couple of weeks and went nuts when I gave him the new one. He raced around the yard flinging it in the air and catching it.
