MLB Homepage again to get some stats to answer you question.
Hard to follow here in Germany, wouldn't know on which channel it would be possible. I'm a NY Mets fan since their miracle 1969 "World Series" win 4-1 against the mighty Baltimore Orioles of that year, but then the Mets also won 100 games that year.
I look for the lifetime stats more, lately sporadically following Alex Rodriguez to see if he becomes the fourth batter to crack 700 home runs (after Bab Ruth, 714, Henry Aaron, 755, and Barry Bonds, 762) lifetime. Seems he'll stay just shy of the mark at 696. But then one of the greatest hitters of all time, teammate of both Babe Ruth and Joe DiMaggio: Lou Gehrig, got stuck at 493 at a time when only Babe Ruth had passed 500 (or 700 in the Babe's case). Jimmy Foxx, the second batter to break 500 HR and ended up with 534, was well behind Gehrig when the latter had to resign from active play in early 1939 due to the disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, called "Lou Gehrig's disease" in the US, which killed him just over two years later.

Scrap car removal. Having the old spent silver bullet hauled away. It's more the tree debris and birdpoo spent bullet these days. It did start though.
