Several episodes of a past-midnight show on one of our smaller private TV channels called “Medical Detectives”, which may thus have the same name in its country of origin, but our version has additional German commentary by German specialists in several areas of forensics.

A two-part Canadian-produced thing about cowboys – with some nods towards real-life cowboys, but mostly about the history of cowboy movies (whose connection to real-life cowboys in tenuous, if at all existent). Certainly covered a lot of territory of really great movies (with an excursion into TV), including the fact that Akira Kurosawa’s Samurai films mostly starring Toshiro Mifune picked up some cowboy movie motifs – ironic in the sense that the incomparable 1954 “Seven Samurai” was the template for the also seriously good 1960 “The Magnificent Seven” western.
