Last night I watch the Habs lose again. Thank the Valar, baseball season officially opens next week. Hopefully, the Blue Jays will have a decent season. Mind you, having said that, I've likely jinxed them.

Several episodes of a BBC TV program called “Horrible Histories” that I recently discovered on one of our public channels devoted to education. The way things are presented makes me think very much of the legendary TV series “Monty Python's Flying Circus” or their film “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” … except that what is presented about times gone by, as crazy, scurrilous or unbelievable as it may seem to us, is actually confirmed as true by current historical research. It is presented in the English original, without any dubs or subtitles, to provide the German viewers with an admittedly hilarious (Pythonesque) view of history from an English perspective – and with a vocabulary that certainly challenges almost all without a native speaker grasp of the English language.  _________________

An episode of the British ITV crime drama series “Vera”. As per Wiki it would be the 22nd episode overall, and episode 2 of the 2016 series 6. Turned out we had seen it before.

One of the many shows fed by dashcam etc. clips showing how nuttily some people behave while participating in traffic respectively how forces of nature can make this participation seriously more complicated.
