Sounds good to me. Lol But yes, the guildsmen are most certainly using Almara. They have no intent of giving her any real role. I’ll let you lead this plot as you see fit. You’ve got a lot more to it now than my badic first ideas.  Should be very interesting!

My my...haven't we been busy writers of late?
Just throwing around key points in my head for next post to pick this up and carry it forward.
Considering covering an exchange between Calimir & Girdean, an exchange between the Captain of the Guards and Valacar (possibly drawing in Eldacar as Crown Prince) and possibly placing Almara and Amarwen back at the palace at the end of a loooong day.

Cool - so another double post for me. Skipped the meeting between Captain of the Guard, Valacar and Eldacar as you had covered that off nicely, Jax. Picked up instead on the discussion between Valacar and Eldacar concerning Aldamir’s visit. Then a second post featuring a discussion between Calimir and Girdean. Calimir will be returning to Pelargir to advise Castimir.

Ooooh....going rogue....so many ideas...like....Rie, Almara, Amarwen & Aldamir set up their own little group...a precursor to the network that would be extended and used during the Kin Strife proper to build support for Eldacar's return.

soooo...right now, Aldamir and Amarwen are dining on their own. Thinking this could become a regular thing that serves two objectives:
~ gives the betrothed couple a change to come to know and understand each other out of the harsh gaze of the wider court
~ offers the rouge group a chance to catch up, share intel, plan & coordinate etc...

Thanks. I think I will enjoy writing in this direction. lol Almara will certainly come into it. Perhaps in a more... uncertain role.

Well two of the shieldmaidens gave up, but not Helda. Of course not. And meanwhile, Amarwen was walking what feels like the edge of a very thin knife. But she's relaxed now.
