Artinwe looked hurt He embraced his daughter "remember the Dragon tears serve you and no one else no king or lord can rule them....remember what your mother taught you.." Artinwe said before riding away he reached into a pocket and pulled out something it was wraped in silk "keep these safe". Midira's horse stamped as he left when he was out of sight Midira turned her attention back to the others. she opened the silk to find a medallion of the sun it was old looking but it still shone with glory she picked up the pendant ans reveled under it a red ruby lay underneth she touched it she felt a fire warmth flow through her. she closed the silk and held up the medallion.
"it seems Father has given me the Dragon tears...."

Silmarwen smiled, and the elves whispered, "Then there is hope after all...." She stepped down from her mare and gave a low bow, "Lady Midira, daughter of Deawen, and keeper of the Dragon tears, we are honored to have you in our midst."

Midira nodded "i can not promise a victory but as Daughter of Deawen there is some hope she would not let such acts go unpunished...' even though Deawen did not care for the elves still

Silmarwen nodded her head. "Now, I must insist we move on," she spoke as she leapt upon her horse again. "I still sense trouble in the air..."

Eomira had watched the conversation from the tree and now, she jumped down and landed carefully on the frozen ground.
She nodded to the newcomers and then turned to Silm.
"We'd best get going. Fast." Then as she brushed past Silm, she whispered almost to quietly to hear. "We're being watched."

Silmarwen nodded quickly and answered, whispered as well, "I felt it... obviously you have seen it...you are correct, now would be a good time for haste" She motioned to the surrounding elves and gave the signal for a hurried retreat farther into the forest.

Eomira pulled her hood once more over her head and slowly slipped into the back of the company till they were almost out of sight. Carefully, she grabbed a treebranch and started dusting out the horse tracks. Careful to cover her own she slowly went from one tree shadow to the next, blending it and making sure anyone who was following them, never knew they were there.

Silmarwen smirked. Eomira was smart, and she was thankful to have her along. Silmarwen had gotten so nervous and hasty lately, mostly on the run, that she would never have thought to cover the tracks. She watched the ground as they road forward, her troubled thoughts taking over, rembering she had lost many in her haste last time, even Avashti...

While Eomira, she heard something. Slowly she stopped and blended herself in with the shadows. Then she saw them.
5 Gondorian Soliders, clearly not experianced in tracking otherwise they would have cleared their own tracks. Counting them, and making sure of their weapons, she called out in a gruff voice,
"Lunatics! They're in the other direction!"

Silmarwen heard the yell and instantly had her elves scatter, as they would make no noise nor sound, but would make it harder than picking out a crowd. She stopped and stepped off her horse. "This is where we must let our horses go ahead... Shade has enough sense to stay close, but not too close..." she spoke to Midira as she slapped the rump of her mare. The mare trotted and Silmarwen sank into the shadow of a tree.

Midira followed the elves silently keeping watch she heard things all around her the frozen ground cruched beneath her horses feet Midira dismounted and pulled out four black bag like cloths she slipped them over the horses hooves then mounted again the crunch of the ground was silenced muffled it was a trick she learned from her mother Deawen was always clever the phantoms were her best example of the closets things to elves.

Silmarwen waited to hear more sign from the soldiers Eomira had obviously encountered. If she heard fighting, she would intervine.

The guards looked around, obviously confused. Eomira grinned and then called out in another voice, this one higher and squeaky like a solider with a cold,
"Come on you guys! It's bitter cold up here! They probably went the other way!" The guards looked bewhildered and looked at eachother. One of them turned to another,
"Chicken are ye? 'Fraid of a pack of elves?" The one the first guard has spoken to just shrugged,
"I never said nothing Captain!" the First Guard looked around supsiously. Just then Eomira landed in front of them. Still dark cloaked she waved carelessly then dashed off in the oppisote direction from where the Elves were. Dashing madly, she called,
"Catch me if You can! The Elves are this way!"

Running onward she muttered under her breath,
"Dont' bother following me...I've got a plan..."

Silmarwen suddenly snapped into action. She waved for the elves to break out in a run. Turning to Midira she spoke, "we run from here... swift and silent... I know where to go now and Eomira is giving us time to put distance between us..." She had caught in the wind a scent which was familiar to her. Remembering a cave like area with an old building, Silmarwen had realized that must be where the rebels dwelt, and if they ran out of range of tracking while Eomira occupied the soldiers, they would avoid bringing trouble with them. Leaping upon her elven mare who she had called back, she whispered the horse into a gallop. The horses hooves were so silent it was unearthly.
