I love to listen to all kinds of metal bands but I mostly listen to black and thrash metal......
Dimmu Borgir,Darkthrone,Mayhem,Emperor,Satyricon,1349,Cradle of Filth,Metallica,Nightwish,Slayer,Slipknot,Finntroll,Pantera and other bands I cannot think of at the moment.

Lotsa nice bands ^^ My list gotta be: Dissection, Immortal, Bathory, Windir, Satyricon, Cradle of Filth, Children of Bodom, Dio, Ozzy, Sabbath, Blind Guardian, Belphegor, Kovenant, Darkthrone, Einherjer, Borknagar, Mayhem, Emperor, Grimfist, Dimmu, Maiden, Dark Tranquillity, Slayer, The Haunted, Vintersorg, Nightwish, Dream Theater, Stratovarius, Cannibal Corpse, Nile, Megadeth, Blinded By Faith, Quo Vadis, In Flames, Pantera, Iced Earth, Rhapsody, System of a Down, The Black Mages....
and yes Rumil, i've actually joined  Miremiel made me a while ago.
It's a shame I don't remember what GLOMP is though... lol

We need more discussion on this topic! just asking what people think of System Of A Down? they have weird songs, but very good one`s too with a real meaning _________________

Mkay...I missed this thread how?
Anyone that knows me well, knows that metal is my music and have done for almost 19 years. I do on occasions listen to other stuff. But 98% of the time I listen to some genre of metal.
Some of my fave bands are:
Nightwish, Amon Amarth, Slayer, Finntroll, Battlelore, Blind Guardian, Lost Horizon, Iron Maiden, Stratovarius, Nevermore, Pantera, Dragonforce, Dragonland, Dream Evil, Arch Enemy, Entombed, Dark Tranquility, Carcass, Obituary, Napalm Death, Darkane, Ensiferum, Thyrfing, Naglfar, Lacuna Coil, Paradise Lost, Type O Negative, Within Temptation, White Zombie, early Metallica, early Megadeth, Suicidal Tendencies, 3 Inches of Blood...I could go on and on but I best not.
As for your question about System of a Down. I like them a lot, been a big fan since there first album. Serj's voice is brilliant. _________________

Anthrax, Bal Sagoth, Dimmu Borgir, Death, Testament, Exodus, Black Sabbath, Rhapsody, Edguy, Sinergy, Children of Bodom, Tarot, Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God, Acid Bath, Soilent Green, Eyehategod, Crowbar, Superjoint Ritual, Down, Corrosion of Conformity, Black Label Society, Kataklysm, Wintersun, Danzig, Soilwork, Inflames, Enslaved...ahh too many good bands out there...

Heh ... like metal. Nightwish, Finntroll, GnR, Evanescence (nu-metal I think ...), Iron Maiden ... Not much of a fan I am.

That's not just music I have on my computer..that's bands I've been listening to from about the age of 11 to now. So it's a huge selection of genres.
And *gasp* I forgot more
Moonsorrow, Sepultura (Max era only), Strapping Young Lad, Stuck Mojo, Susperia, Zyklon, Fear Factory, Damageplan, Gaia Epicus, Edenbridge, Graveworm, Hammerfall, Kamelot, Kyuss, Marduk, Motorhead, My Dying Bride, Nile...

nah... just might be that I haven`t even heard the others music and some of the bands are complete mysteries to me... I suspect you live in the UK or USA? or you have looked around the bands way more than I have... yeah... I`m lazy..
I´ve got only Slipknot, Pain, Iron Maiden, Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, In Flames, Disturbed, Metallica, Sentenced and System Of A Down....
