"Why is it after you?" Darrell asked. "forgive me, we have not been formally introduced but I should like to know"

"That's alright." Jaden bowed in respect to Darrell.

"I have been unable to determin why it is after me. I can only guess that it has something to do with me releasing Azhur from his chains. But he did not deserve to be in them and I owuld choose no differently given the choice to do it again." Jaden answered kindly.

"There was one other thnig, in the cave there was an amblem on the wall of a large dragon with an strange shape around, and on the dragon were the images of threds comming in from all directions towards the large dragon in the center. But what it means I don't know." Jaden said as he drew the emblem in the dirt.

Eleshna peered closely at the emblem, and having read many books of old lore, she was sure she had seen it before. She had a strange sense of foreboding and her face paled slightly.

Eleshna shook her head slightly, "I'm not quite sure... but I have seen it somewhere, though long ago... If I remember correctly, it does not bode well... I believe it is the symbol of a silent terror... which would remain dorment unless awakened... much like the balrog, but exists in unknown lands... "

Deawen chuckled a bit "let me say something...i never ask how i can defeat something or someone i ask how can i out wit it...." Deawen said with a smile "when i led my men into battle in our hours of glory it was impossible to beat i didn't ask how are we going to defeat this i asked what are the flaws in this stratigy?"

Artinwe limped over to this congregation, wincing occasionally. "That's the last time I wear armour to bed!" he promised himself. "Deawen, your dog licked me awake again." "Good girl," Deawen muttered to Arenel. "Oh, I'm sorry, Artinwe," she said in her sweetest voice. "She does'n't aprove of late risers." "I wasn't rising late! I was just reading and pondering an emblem of a dragon, with lines running towards it and... exactly like that." he said with quiet shock, indicating the sign in the dirt. "You know it?" Jaden asked, a brooding storm cresting his brow (that oughta be in a poem!). "Well, no. But I saw it in a dream llast night. That's why I was reading, to see if I could find its meaning." he replied, equally thoughtful. "Artinwe!" Morwen cut in, "Could I speak with you and, if she so wishes, Deawen? Alone. I don't mean to offend the rest of you, but I need some advice from my old friends. It's a personal matter." Not exactly true, she thought, but if her baby got dragged into the conversation, she'd rather be with those who already knew about it.

Eleshna gave a slight cry as she remembered what she had read of the symbol, "it is the symbol of the Maithiliat, as it is called in the elven language, but in common tongue it is the Death Wing of Fire..." She pondered on her thoughts a while, then continued, "it is also know as the Bealdethiat, the Gaurdian of Eternal Fire... the tale tells of an unquenchable fire... and a legend longer than my arms, taking in count my sword as well, could reach... eventual it faded into non-existance, the symbol being a warning to all who went near to the area of the falling place of the legend... and the book tells of an awakening that would happen of this Maithiliat, and the most certain fall of many, yet the loss of thousands if victory is not secured swiftly... there was also something it told of the awakening... how the awakening would take place and why... but for the life of me, I cannot recall it to memory."

Quite confused by all the information Jaden leaned back to think. (a dificult task I know)

"If it was vanquished before it can be done again. But how?" Jaden wondered softly, almoste to himself.

As Jaden thought Azher climbed carefully up his side and perched on his shoulder, the small dragon no bigger than a cat, but with the capability to roast an orc on the spot.

A few sounds came from the small dragon and Jaden's face turned to determination... or confusion... hard to say.

"Maybe if I go back." Jaden said aloud to himself.
