I'm reading a Danish book which probably would be called Jonathan's Quest in English by Martin A. Hansen. Very famous Danish author (died in 1955).
It's both realistic and not. A bit like a fairy tale at some points :)

Just got past the Beren and Luthien chapter in The Silmarillion. *sob* it's still so sad!

I tried reading the Silmarillion but I got bored. too much description tends to kill me. I still have trouble with LOTR sometimes (but not much!!).

At the minute I'm not reading anything because I just finished a book (A Little Death). It was really really strange, but very good. Next on my list is Uylesses by James Joyce :)

Haha...I felt exactly the same way after I finished it.

Did you? That makes me feel so much better, :) because I know my friends that have read it absolutely love it... I found it addictive, but I don't like I loved it.

I'm about to start another murder mystery... I think this one has something to do with the Zanzibar... I haven't read anything by that author before.

daughterofkings said that the Silmarillion was boring. I can see why you would think so, but it has a lot of background stuff that can be seen as interesting because it shows you how such and such came into being. And it starts all the way from the creation of the world.

So it's a bit interesting. :bye2:

Right now I'm reading The Mists of Avalon and trying to read the Silmarillion. It's difficult because there are long pauses and I like action. :erm:

I'm still on The Princes of Ireland, but I've also started Vector Prime, the first book in the New Jedi Order trilogy. Ok so far, but the beginning was a bit boring. :timid:

Revenge of the Sith by Matthew Stover. Being a novelization I didn't think it was gonna be that good, but he is such an awesome writer!
