*Sen looked over to the others, as he reigned in Flarenath.*
Then one or both of you can ride Flarenath; he will bear you both with great ease, and unless you want to, he will not let you fall, nor lead you astray.
*Sen dismounted, and, taking one of the reigns of the Maiean from a pouch, he held it for a few seconds, staring intently at it. It crumbled away, frost creeping over its surface. Sen was done, and he tossed it to the side of the road, where they broke, the cold making them brittle.*
Now, they will not be able to sneak up on us.

(did you just dry freeze the horses?.... o_o *cunfuzzled* lol)
Tahlavain looked at Flarenath then Sen, "Unless everyone has a steed, it makes no difference if I ride or walk."

(OOC: No, just the reigns from one of the Maiean horses; it is like absorbing all the senses from it; like smelling it, sensing it, feeling it, etc all at once, so Sen can "sense" past their little tricks...)
*I am fine without one; you will have no fear of leaving me behind, and Flarenath understands...

(but we burned them... -_- I had already said before that "I will not touch such foul attire" ^^ lol)
Thalavain shook her head, "I leave no one behind, now, and I now see it as my duty to keep everyone together until we reach Minas Tirith. Besides, even if you insisted, I could not leave you behind and Darrell, since he would most likely insist on walking as well..."

Deawen looked over at the others with pale eyes. Arenel followed her watching her with watchful eyes.

*Sen smiled slyly, and replied.*
Who said anything about leaving me behind? I will more likely arrive at Minas Tirith before you than if I was riding. That is why you should not fear me being left behind; for there is no chance you will. As for Darrell...
*Sen gave a shrill, piercing whistle, and a nearly identical black steed, yet slightly smaller, came running out of the woods after a few seconds.*
This is Flarenath's foal, and he too will have no trouble bearing Darrell. Shall we be off?

Tahlavain gave Sen a strange look, hmph... someone who has all the answers... or thinks he does... (ooc: *innocent smile* ^^ ) "Alright then... " Tahlavain grabbed a handful of mane and swung herself upon Flarenath and crouched low as the horse broke into a gallop.

Deawen lagged behind at first but soon Bredol could not take being lasy and as if he was in a race he charged forward Deawen leaned into the gallop and arenel chasing after Deawen slowed him down Arenel jumped up into the saddle and they rode as fast as the other horses Bredol loved running Deawen always loved running him but she was too tired to care

(hmph. first a dog arrives by whistle, now yet another horse. Perhaps I should whistle in a huge golden eagle to fly us all to minas tirith.lol.)
Darrell made no comment as he mounted the horse (does he have a name?) Sen called for him although he muttered under his breath to the horse "if we get into a scrap your on your own pal, I'm fighting with my feet on the ground". He rode after Tahlavain, always watching or signs of danger.

(ahaha! ^^ ahem... lol)
(by the way... how far away should Minas Tirith be?... lol) Tahlavain sat up and pulled Flarenath down to a canter. Slowing the horse more, she looked at the others and whispered, "this is the area in which I saw their camp... silence is more important than haste now..."

Darrell slowed behind Tahlavain and whispered a response "If there are many of them camped close to the road I doubt being quiet will make much difference. If they are that close then they will attack us regardless of how fast or quietly we go. But I would have thought they will have moved after their defeat last night"

Tahlavain replied, glancing around, "They are not close... they are scattered... in small groups... very strange formation... but I took note of it, and it seems they do not watch the road during the day... they seem to wait until the travellers have reached the open space of the fields ahead... that is when we make haste, but now, silence seems best... "

Darrell shrugged and continued at the pace she dictated. I wonder how she feels so much he thought to himself I thought I could predict the movements of an enemy but she seems to know exactly what they are doing. Darrell frowned if she is right it will help us stay safe and undetected and dismissed it.

(I guess Minas Tirith is a couple of days away. Perhaps we should see what Sen and Deawen think.)

(Tahlavain is a mind reader muwahahaha ^_^ )
Tahlavain let out the breath she was holding, "alright... we are past the main area... but I prefer we gallop only when we arrive in the open..."
Turning her head to look at Darrell, she cleared her throat nervously, "Well... the reason I can tell so much... is because when in a fight, I can hear the thoughts of the one I am battling.... I can hear thoughts other times as well... mostly when it concerns me or a matter I am dealing with... I do not mean to, but it happens..."
Tahlavain turned to look forward again but continued, "But I do read thoughts on purpose when it comes to the enemy... and it seems that is all the Maiean do... they read eachother's thoughts, as well as speak and coordinate with eachother in mind only, so I was able to hear them when I was near their camp..."

(I know Tahlavain is a mind reader. I have read the whole of this thread after all.lol.)
"That is a useful skill. However the thoughts of another should stay private, if they want them known they will speak them. It is an intrusion of privacy" He laughed " and I will have to watch what I think as well as what I say. But use against those who are evil, such as a maiean I have no problem with if it keeps us alive." he frowned slightly "if they find they may use it to lay a trap for you. Be wary of what you may find".
