Eleshna nodded and kept her gaze forward, hand on the hilt of the sword on her lap, ready for anything that may perhaps come.
After a while, she pulled the tablet halves from her satchel and peered at them in silence, though whispering in elvish now and then as she translated the remainder of the various spells and instructions which remained on the broken stone.

That morning Jaden woke to find Eleshna still pouring over the tablet.
jaden raised himself to his feet and rumeged through his pack.
"Do you have enough food? Or do we need to go hunting before we enter Blind Man's Bane?" Jaden asked Eleshna.

Eleshna seemed intent on the tablet and didn't seem to hear him.
She looked at him, his question not registering at first because her mind was still preoccupied with the tablet, "oh, yes, I have enough. One can survive on lembas for quite a long time..."
She smiled then looked back at the tablet. Sighing slightly, she shoved it back in her satchel, repeating to herself a few strange words in the tongue written on the tablet.

Jaden had his sword out and to the man's throte before he knew what he was doing.
"I'm sorry! " Jaden gasped. "I'm a little on edge." he admited.
Taking the sword away he introduced himself to the stranger who obviously knew Eleshna.

Eleshna immediately leapt to her feet, shocked at being called by her secretive title, which she thought she had left behind.
She had the sword point at the man's throat in an instant. "Who are you, and how do you know me? That name is not to be uttered... I do not prefer it to be used lightly, and if you know me, you know well why I do not want it used..."

The stranger smiled. "It's okay...I get that a lot...", and with that, he took off his cloak and he was arrayed in black armor, harder than Adamant.

Jaden, quite confused brought his sword back up to his hands. Not moving against the man, but not giving him much chance for anything ether.
(Your character sounds good to me)
Jaden waited for the man's reply.
