Eleshna shook her head and calmed down, "I am sorry, but I cannot let it pass..." she lowered her sword but her face was still taught. "Have you heard it from the Shadows themselves?" she questioned warily. "Or are you perhaps one of them who has not fully lost form yet?... if so, then do not command me, for I take no commands from the Shadows... they are my charges, and answer to me..."

"Neither am I of their kind... the Shadows are spirits of warriors long perished, which heed my command..." Eleshna continued, more so as an explaination to Jaden, "Yes, I am known as Shadow Dancer, and I was given the title long ago... and no, my key to silence and being unseen is not just because I am elven, but because I am given the gift by the Shadow warriors themselves..."

She had no idea why she was telling all this. It went against her every belief in keeping things to a need to know bases only.

"I have no time for this.." she snapped, and sheathed the sword. "The morning has already arrived and we are losing time.."

Eleshna saddled and bridled the mare and leapt up. She urged the mare to a steady canter in the direction of the valley.

She was angered, and frustrated. Even if Jaden didn't understand what she was talking about, she had said too much.
