Tahlavain wiped her blade with a furious expression, occasionally wiping blood from her forehead. She muttered several things in elvish, but smirked slightly when she thought of how she had nearly defeat the man. "Next time..." she mumbled.

(Here, I'll edit and repost the last part of the long battle scene post. lol)
She cried out in frustration, "Rhaich!" Tahlavain made her way back to camp, and her angered face was indeed a sight when she arrived, blue yes blazing amid scratches and cuts, though small they be. She sat down, or more so slumped, beneath a tree and took a piece of cloth and began wiping her drawn blade, which strangely carried the cloaked man's blood, though no other blood seemed to remain at other times. Oblivious of the questioning gaze of the others, she continued to mutter curses in elvish, flinching as, in her furious wiping of her blade, she sliced her own hand with the razor sharp edge.
(That should work now ^^)

(lol. sorry, i read that bit again, the first time I missed the bit about returning to camp. My bad.)
Darrell watched Tahlavain come back into camp covered in cuts and other minor wounds. "looks like I was right then" he said "you did do something foolish". He moved over to her, "well, what did you learn?" he asked "anything we can use". He watched her wince as she cut her self on her sword. "and those wounds need cleaning, or they'll get infected" He walked over to his pack and retrived his water bottle and a small cloth. "here, use this" and he handed her the water.

Tahlavain sent a glare in Darrell's direction when he mentioned she had done something foolish. oi, my reputation is now ruined... wait... I didn't have any to begin with... "I learned the leader's title, but not his name, and I know exactly what they are after, though not the particular reason behind it..."
She eyed the water and was about to refuse it saying she would be alright, but knew it wouldn't do her any good to argue. "Hannon le..." she mumbled as she took the water and cleaned off a few of her cuts.
After a few moments of silence filled with various grimaces and winces, Tahlavain again spoke. "He called himself the shadow, the rumored shadow, and claimed he could not be beaten..."
She confessed what she had done before, "I mind spoke to them, telling them I would meet only with their leader, and I would challenge him to a fight as long as they left you and the others alone... it went well up until the point where he found himself in a tight spot and ran..." At this she muttered a few more curses in elvish. "I didn't even get a name out of him..." She didn't mention what she knew about what they were after and why.

(god, my last post was lame.)
"well, we know more than we did before, and you weren't killed, which is a good thing. But next time you do something like that you could at least warn us" He sat up against a tree " you get some rest now, I'll stay on watch for the rest of the night". He got some unfletched arrows and some dark green feathers out of his pack and got to work replenishing the arrows in his quiver.

(lol nah it wasn't. It was just quick and to the point lol)
Tahlavain shook her head, "no, because if I told you, you would be sure to follow, and that would not be acceptable..."
"And I do not wish to rest," she mumbled. Tahlavain finished cleaning Corasar and sheathed the blade. Letting out a sigh, she spoke again, "they're after the sword... and he claimed it held a power only someone who knew what they were doing, could use... and he said it would help him achieve his 'goal' ... whatever that is..."
Tahlavain felt as though she had made no progress in the situation, other than managing to confuse herself more.

*The others did not notice Sen was missing. At the first ring of steel, Sen felt the energy of the blades from where he was, and went running, darting between the shadows. He hid in the shadows, however; he only wanted to intervene if Tahlavain was critically wounded. As the one who called himself a shadow took off, he chased after it, and soon passed Tahlavain, though she did not see him. He kept up easily; his movement in shadows was far more swifter than any horse, and if they came to an open plain... Sen soon caught up, and dropped out of a tree right in front of the shadow's horse, swords drawn.*
I think we may have something to discuss...

The man stared hard at Sen then let out a laugh. "If it isn't Lord Sen himself come to greet me." The laugh and voice sounded strangely familiar, and rather mocking as well. "What have we to discuss? I am in need of a sword, and you are in need of survival. It is only because she has the sword that she has nearly defeated me," he continued, not backing off and not revealing himself either.

(Not funny... It is your character; I don't know how he will behave. Maleon still hasn't arrived, and Melachor is, well, Melachor.)
*Sen smiled, and stood straight, his swords down by his sides.*
Why do you want the sword? What secret does it carry that you hound us so? And why do you say I am in need of survival? From what I've seen, you have not seen me fight, nor know my abilities. I fear that if you were to challenge me, you would be quite surprised. Quite lethally surprised.

(ok umm.... he can be... umm... someone working for Maleon or a right hand man or something, lol, how's that?)
"And I fear," he replied, "that you could not kill me no matter your powers. As for why I want the sword," he continued, as he dismounted his steed, "it is an ancient sword, and not of the common lands. It contains the power needed to achieve my goal, and that of Mal--..." He stopped, as though he remembered something. "Let us just say that she will not know how to use it, and that is why I go undefeated... and for the sword to be given to someone else, the current wielder must perish. And I do not hound you and your companions. My men do, and I am sorry but I cannot pull them back unless Tahlavain dies and the sword is handed over."
